Can you not do /die tokens? Life tokens sound like a horrible idea.

Jason, a few people manage to get a belltower on server12 up since Saturday.  Next to that BellTower someone wrote a note that said, and I point out it was not me, 'dick move jason'.  I laughed, but honestly thought with the first wipe that low population servers might have been an oversight.  It sounded like you might have made an oversight from your previous comment.  Now I'm no longer laughing at that note, and won't be in the future at it.  It gets worse... a Twitch streamer, who I won't name in case there's a problem with me quoting that person said this morning on the s12 discord: "The bell tower is done now I spent most of my life collecting flatties for a road to the tarry spot I want to do the oil stuff later tonight on stream"  That person had plans to make a diesel engine too, and in a low stress place, where others might help that person out.  Things were well prepared with a good yum supply also and iron and sulfured latex ready to process and a road to a tarry spot.

Yes, BladeWoods, he wiped server12 also.

I place all the flat rocks someone gathered and lined up from Buggy's place to the east, right before the wipe. That whole hour of my life hitting stakes and placing rocks... fml

I liked the southernmost bell town, the nameless/signless one with the large desert and unfinished road. Went to spend three lives there just because it was the best of the three.

I liked that town too. I gathered stones for almost two whole lives to make that road more solid than it is in the picture. Someone else filled it in but I stacked so many flat rocks next to the road. I wanted more people to travel south. I tried to rebuild the outpost just north of there with some of my kids another life, but it was difficult because only new players wanted to stay. One of them built that nursery while i was still alive. In a later life I took a horse cart up to that outpost and shrimped my life away. Carted the shrimp down to the south bell town and cooked them up.

Looking back on my lineages, I was: Aaban Feuer, Woodely Feuer, Warrior Feuer, Ben Feuer VII, Iris IV, and Owen Piano. (Photo'd here) http://photos.onehouronelife.com/server … id=1151528

What about banana bread? Same recipe as bread, except for adding a mashed or peeled banana before it becomes leavened dough.

Or even after it's leavened, just before you add it to a plate.

I prefer food ideas that use already existing foods. Tomato soup needs to be a thing already too.

Banana Pie would be amazing, imo. It wouldn't even have to give you that many more pips than a regular banana but it would add another link in the yum chain. Another benefit to banana pies would be that the filling doesn't take water/soil to produce, just some exploration. It would give more reason to go out and find bananas instead of just eating them when you come across them.
I feel like there are a lot of pies already but new players love to make them.

Banana + Clay Bowl = Banana in Bowl
Banana in Bowl + Stone = Mashed Banana
Mashed Banana + Pie Crust = Raw Banana Pie
Raw Banana Pie + Hot Oven = Banana Pie

Thoughts?

Without just limiting stuff specifically how about something like primary biomes and secondary biomes for resources? Instead of ponds only appearing in swamps maybe they have reduced spawns in biomes like badlands or jungle? Scatter different resources at lower quantities through other biomes so you aren't just reskinning trees or adding tech to make each specific biome livable.

Some off the top of my head:
Burdock is found mostly in the grasslands but has some reduced spawns over in the badlands.
Iron found in majority in the badlands but sometimes in desert (but never veins in deserts.)
Ponds that are found mostly in swamps but sometimes in badlands and rarely in jungles.
Soil found mostly in the grasslands but sometimes off in the prairie.

Basically play off the idea that a biome Will have this but Might have that.

I really like this suggestion. It seems like other people do too. Clay should be added to that list. Clay should have a low chance of spawning in the jungles as well.
Grasslands will always be my home though. I don't want to get bit by mosquitoes, wolves, or hogs in town.
I really dislike the grid based idea though. It seems so unnatural.
