marriages would be nice, even with incest, we got a way to have twin eves, so one names boys, other girls and they can marrya better system could be made, like a baby borns with a necklace, half of it you could put on a home marker tree which could contain more names, when it falls you know the person is dead, other half would be near the grave, containing age and some stats maybe
How about a totem pole that grows for each person alive born within the town? A stack of male & female symbols so that we know what the makeup of the city is. Maybe even unique versions for baby-fertile-menopausal. The totem pole would lose the corresponding segment when people die.
I like these! Even a simple counter for nearby players would be appreciated so I know if a chunk of people go missing.
I also like the idea of an actual "home marker tree" that could be shared by the people, and if you interact with it, you can turn your home marker off and make your own if you want to.
I wonder if smoke signals could be used to try and guide Eves close by? Usually dying villages have cut down many trees with lumber stacked, I'd take the chance and make a huge bonfire if an Eve could see some smoke puffs hover in her screen and take the journey to follow it.

So great! Thanks for this!
Thank you! Happy to deliver some fanart!
Yeah, the woman that Ash stabbed was a griefer. It wasn’t an accident. She went up to us while I was dying, while Ash was talking about wanting a girl, and asked for a knife so she could “kill town, why else?” Naturally, Ash refused. The woman got really mad and started calling Ash a bunch of cuss words. Then I died.
Sorry you had to experience all of that, Rocky. I tried to get you but Lenny was determined for me not to get you. The thing you mentioned with people standing and not responding is a glitch. It means they’re alive and I find the glitch stops when you see them on your screen. I’ve watched a little girl age into an elder with me through that glitch. But it’s kind of an annoyance.
He wanted someone who can heal to join him in his “fun” I suppose. When I became his “apprentice” I had to be able to heal so in case he got stabbed he would be okay.
I like the screenshots. Awesome job as Rocky.
Oh, I see. I hope she didn't get to the knives I had to leave behind.
Ah, a glitch, great timing as delusions fit well in Rocky's life.
Yeah I have better things to do than play nurse for a time wasting griefer. I ignored his calls as he demanded me to feed him in his after-murder mode. I was busy doing the job he wanted me to do; healing people.
And thank you, I enjoyed your story! Funny how differently we experienced the overlapping lives. Maybe we meet in a better life next time.
Hello, I was Rocky. I can tell about his journey a bit.
Saw the world first time from Lenny's arms, commotion everywhere. I managed to hear the naming.
Sounded rather cold, noted that. Not sure who is who and what is going on.
Lenny ran around holding me, feeding whatever he could to me. I was confused but thought this seems entertaining for now.
Some woman said to her daughter:
Got concerned a bit.
I joked about leg day to Lenny as we were constantly moving, this happened:
"Oh", I answered. Still not sure how to judge the situation.
He dropped me, asking if I can heal. I knew how to, but never had done it. He ran off basically scoffing at my answer.
I scouted the town, trying to scan the area. Well, murders started to happen.
A cousin got stabbed, aunt Sue got stabbed, Curses flying around, a woman got stabbed, Dany healed her, then Dany got stabbed - I healed Dany who dragged himself to the medic's, saving him. Missy begged for the knife Dany had and went off to chase after starving Lenny.
After it got quiet, I went to check the murder area for identification, trying to gather the pieces of the situation.
Dany and Sam II shoo'ed me away, something along the lines of "Walk away kiddo", I was a bit surprised at such greeting, I saved Dany as far as I remembered.
Later I saw Dany walk towards the medic's, wearing Lenny's stuff, crown too, but he collapsed by the door, dead. I took the items and started making more clean pads. I wasn't too happy, I thought "This surely isn't a life I asked for...", tired with the murders and lack of trust. But I knew the knives were safe on me. Took some arrows in my backpack too.
Abel, my first cousin, appeared at medic's, asked if I was "new at doctor" and I admitted I was. He was nice, promised to pick me up to make antivenom with a horse.
I saw you at the western side of the village once, on the grassy field, but you were just standing still and silent. I tried to see if your hair hid a knife in your backpack, not quite being able to tell for sure before you vanished into thin air, leaving nothing behind. This happened again with another woman in the western field. I was probably lagging.
I went back to pad making, trying to check on Abel as I waited for the antivenom trip, also hovered around medic's house in case people needed me, seeing if knives can be disinfected and if bigger yarn balls made multiple pads. Two youngsters started to hang around the medic's house, and I let them help around, although I am fairly positive one of them just dirtied my pads... Oh well.
When we met again, among with Ash, I was really, really cautious. You hugged me, I stayed put. You both talked about things, it felt crowded in the ever-restless town centre, and the talking was overwhelming, I was uncomfortable, alert, and deep down I was worried if I am in a family of murderers or griefers, standing in the eye of the storm, possibly being surrounded by people who may snap any moment, armed and all. You asked what had happened, I recalled things, keeping the answers rather blunt and short. You tried to tell your story, I mumbled answers, "Uhhuh..." "Mm-hmm", not getting relaxed. I couldn't trust any of you, village was my family basically. We just had had a calm life after Lenny, what will happen now? More people, more knives, I didn't like it.
Then I hear Ash say someone was possibly plotting to kill me, I was "king" and all. "If they want to kill me, they can", I said, tired of the drama, while I hauled bones away. No-one will get me dragged into threatening or killing villagers.
Then Ash's... finger slipped? When that woman, who warned us about snakes south, got stabbed there, I paused. I had to take a moment to calculate. I had two knives on me. What is the next move? Ash begged for food, I didn't give her any. I had zero trust in her words, "accident", is that so? I let my "medic apprentices" and villagers make the decision. They healed the woman and fed Ash. I stayed silent.
I patrolled the town, seeing you two talk, having some discussion of getting a girl: I was content being so disconnected from the family, the village was more important to me. I still saw you two possibly unstable, it sounded like the girl was such an obsession. I kept my distance.
At the edge of the berry field, I saw Ash talking to the woman she had stabbed before, I stopped instantly at the sight of a knife in her hand. I observed, they seemed to come to a conclusion of it being an accident. The villagers accepted that, I accepted that.
I got older, didn't bother trying to find my blood relatives; my priority was to make sure to leave the medic's house in good condition for the villagers and the next promising medics, so I hauled important stuff there as I visited the "antivenom-horse" the last time, wondering what happened to Abel. I liked him the best.
I set down my crown, weapons and clothes above the medic's house, I had hoped to give them to the two younger medics... But the knives and arrows were left unguarded as the sixtieth year ended it all.
So, thanks to the drama, I became the cold, quiet, patrolling doctor of the town with trust issues and a crown on his head. With some delusion on top with the "still standing people disappearing into thin air"? Heh.
It was quite something. Rocky had a rough life. I was quite restless through it, having seen rp-griefers before. Looked forward to spending time with Abel, but seems like a rattle snake got him.
Sorry for my coldness as Rocky, I really didn't trust you guys at all, especially after Ash's incident...
I do agree with everything said on this topic, even with contradicting things, haha!
I dislike...
...the clutter too, we need more stacking possibilities and moving stacks with carts or something...
...some small things like overly complicated food (carnitas was the name?) or the cabbage food, just not quite worth the trouble.
...milkweed: I wish one plant was enough for one thread at least, or two milkweed grew in one tile - sheep kinda make up for that in the end. But...
...the animal pen system: fences are easy to destroy and sheep are let loose: maybe haystacks or carrots could attract sheep back to the pen? Or then we need a better pen system (the holes will probably not work forever for pens...?)
...how baskets hold so little items, three berries or carrots in a basket looks silly: maybe "basketful of carrots/berries" or something, that'd be the heart of an Eve town. And you could just dump em' on the ground as a "pile of carrots/berries".
...how hard it is to get skewers - perhaps what is required is just another way to make a home marker so we don't get tons of arrows in towns?
...how sometimes people chop down important trees and they're just gone, but I'm sure we can get some tree planting in the future.
...the trees obstructing my vision when moving, the foliage could be more sparse or I dunno, more see-through...? I'm not too fussed about this though, but hope it could work better for the players.
...seeds as they take tiles and are so small on the screen: many new and old players can die if not careful, they may be holding a seed they can't see and starve. Seed stacks or seed boxes would be great.
...how some useful things aren't useful: I would like to mash rabbit bones and duck bones etc. for a bone meal or something that could boost plants in gardens, maybe even saving a tribe in an emergency.
Vanity stuff, I dislike having no huts or anything more village-like, I'd love to hunt down some deer for hide to make lil' bonfire huts or hunting huts to have a bit more of a village feel going.
beautiful art mom this is truly going into my folder 12/7 :3
Thank you! Glad to hear. Were you one of my daughters, Lana?
Anyone else notice a similarity between the Nameless player in the Pharo tree,
and Tom White
(from the Family in thread by Catfive - "Deliberately lagging server out/...", in this family tree?Pharo Tree - Nameless
Final words: "Five One Zero Kda"White Tree - Tom White
Final words: "I lived prosper, lorenzo white killed this town stabbing ppl"Its probably the same dickhead.
Yeah he was probably this guy too, Allen Sky:
He has bad grammar and seems to repeat himself. As Allen Sky he was doing the milkweed seed lag griefing. He also wrote "I am more smarter than you" which is pretty funny considering the grammar... More and -er don't belong in the same sentence... Such smart, much wow, hahah.
Can't help but wonder if we actually have a very small amount of griefers but few very active ones, I know two are active in my time zone at evening. I also wonder when they realize how they are wasting their time griefing a game that is not even mainstream.
Yeah I avoid areas behind trees like crazy, and try to remember what dangers are around and where they patrol. Eve towns are harsh environments: you want desert for warmth, but not if there is a snake infestation, you want swamps for water, but not if there are boars close by. I approach new swamps and deserts VERY carefully, standing still for some time to see if animals move in the biome if there are a lot of trees. If I see snakes or boars, I avoid the area until it is cleared with an axe (also warning others).
I have died to wild animals only when ambushed outside of my vision, walking up behind me and crossing paths for the split second they need to strike.
I kinda wanna suggest animal trails or something so you can see animal trails on the ground and be alert for them, but I worry it will cause lag and not be helpful around trees (maybe we just need more opacity on trees).
Or perhaps some easy-ish ways to hold animals in their biomes too, like sprinkling chili powder around to act as an animal repellent.
This is amazing. The matching screenshot/ story takes it over the top. 11/10
Thank you! Can we raise it to a 12/10 if I admit I listened to Pocahontas songs while I drew?
JESUS CHRIST THIS IS GOOD
THANK YOU I APPREACIATE IT A LOT
Best one yet fuck me
Aww, thanks!
There is no compliment I can give...others have already said it for me! Gj!
Thank you and thank you for commenting!
Picked for the home page. Nice work!
Ohh, I didn't know that was a thing! Thank you very much! And nice game! YouTube brought me to it.
It is super cool!
Thank you! Super cool people inspire super cool art!
Love this! It shows that each life you play is realistic. Love your family, folks~
Thank you! And true that.
Anshin wrote:Neo wrote:Set your homemarker and die of OLD AGE. This will probably cause an Eve to appear at some point.
Does this actually work? I wish it did. It would be nice to know the next Eve gets to benefit from your camp.
Yeah, You know when Eves spawn in ruins. That's because someone with a home marker died of old age at some point.
Dunno if it always works but I've seen plenty of Eves repopulate dead towns.
Oh wow I hope it works! One more way to say "screw you griefers", as the towns may basically never die no matter how they try! In my latest Eve Gala run, I had an amazing location (biome and resource wise) and the family got to gen 8 (death by griefer) but I died to old age with my marker set so I hope someone plops in there, the town is probably in an amazing state as it already was when my Eve life ended.
I did see an Eve spawn in the middle of a city where I was growing as the last girl with my brothers, the Eve spawned right by a berry farm at the edge of my vision. It was so funny to see her appear, name herself and start doing things.
(gif)
Thank you!
It's so good !!! Don't hesitate to show us more !
Thank you! I have one more pic in the making, but my vacation is ending so I may not have time to finish it in near future.
Encore! Encore!
I hope I can get more fanart done!
Fabulous.
Thanks!
You are incredibly talented. Well done.
Aw, thank you. I still kinda want to make a coloured version, but that's gonna take so much time!
I love it!!
Thank you, glad to hear that!
Wow!!!!
Thank you for your comment!
Amazing work MultiLife.
Thank you!
Melody West - Mother of Goddess West III (me), who had a roleplay-grief thing going on as a murderous matriarch of a dying city: stab-happy and killed innocent men and even one of her daughters, she went on about men being slaves, yada yada. Felt like playing with a restless child, I avoided her and had a great life with my brothers after she was gone. She did leave me alive and I continued the line so there's that.
Sharmade Lothian - A woman in the Lothian family who did the roleplay-grief thing: tried to play a role of a jealous wife of my son (who also did the whole marriage roleplay thing), and tried to get drama going by talking about me "looking at her husband" to which I replied "he is my son". Later on she tried to stab me, chasing me around, but I just dodged her and managed to have her lose me. I had knives, I just didn't want to kill, it could spell disaster to the town and cause unnecessary chaos. I managed to snatch her knife and kept the three knives I had safe after that.
Hope West - A daughter of Dua West (me), last girl of the tribe but not last of the nearby city: she did that roleplay thing, playing a role of a pie-munching kid who grew up just eating and talking and "banging" her brothers, didn't amuse me, but she did continue the line so good for her. I'd rather not meet her again to listen the stuff she came up with. It felt like playing with Barbies with some caffeine high immature kid. But I enjoyed my life so it didn't ruin the round for me or anything. At first she was amusing, talking about being Jabba the Hutt but yeah, too much.
Domino Goodwill - A daughter of Peace Goodwill (me), Domino killed the twins of the city, yes the twins seemed really talkative and probably annoying with their marriage talks but I don't want to hang around kill-happy individuals. I don't think she killed anyone else and the town kept going.
I made the fanart of the saviors of Jr town, I hope Lana sees it too! forums/viewtopic.php?id=3181
Fanart from me, inspired by a life where my daughters killed two griefers:
Family tree, Lilith: 704980
Thank you for your masterful performance, Lana and Lacee!

Hi mum, We buried you next to Grandma. My younger sister said she would bury me next to you so hopefully we can be a nice family of Graves.
The griefers didn't do any real lasting damage and Tara was lacking in IQ department.
Hi Lacee! Thank you for the burial! Fun how two family trees managed to grow together there.
True that. But man it gets so hectic with two running around. Gonna keep an eye on babies with the naming ceremony behavior for sure... And try to get a hunter life for practicing with bows. Otherwise I will be a bow juggler forever. :'D Oh man I was trying so hard.
Hi Jr family! It was a pleasure living with your folks in the town you made. I was from "Unkle" lineage (704530) generation 3's Lilith (704980), but my mom never got the surname so I was just a Lilith in the town of Jrs, not related to basically anyone. My mother was making a camp, northeast of the Jr town.
I ended up as the queen of the Jr village: I found Jr generation 12's Bob IV afking at the edge of a field, then he died, and well, the crown was there so I took it and wanted to see if I could give it back to a promising Jr as I helped around the city.
I ended up being so busy I never managed to search out a good Jr. I gave my crown to my firstborn who had kept the village safe: sadly I had birthed one Unnamed griefer into the village, and she killed people along with another griefer, Tara (who was my sister's child). Me, the villagers and my daughters got the griefers in the end and managed to stack some curse on the one called Tara, but I didn't manage to name the Unnamed griefer and she died like that. My bad, I now know I have the power to name Unnamed adults.
The village is still alive and kicking as far as I can see. But I am worried the griefers get right back there...
Oh well, it was a great place and I made sure to give important jobs around as we tried to keep the village safe.
12 out of 26 lives I died to Old Age (in those 26 lives many were me being abandoned to starve as a baby as usual, heh).
Some lives I cut short to avoid me sponging a developing village and to leave food for the next generation, in those runs I usually take my leave at 40 years or after.
But yes it feels great! Congratulations.
Hi! I checked my screenshots and can confirm:
The Tana family did live in the same megacity where Wests lived: Seoul was turned to Oulse. Unknown if the two families of Tana and West A/B coexisted there though.
Selena Tana in Seoul: imgur com/O4h2ChF (family tree id 671890)
Goddess West III in Oulse: imgur com/0n57GTU (West tree A)
When Selena Tana was alive, there were only Tana family around Seoul along with the killer bear. It could be possible that Angus may have tried to lead it away if they arrived there after Tanas died out: Angus died 25 hours ago, Selena Tana died 31 hours ago, so if Angus was around, he encountered the bear after Selena had died (there were no arrows in the city and the bow went missing after Lila Tana, Spruha Tana and Alex (Tana) tried to gather arrows to kill it only to realize the bow went missing, probably dropped by Lila Tana as he died to the bear).
I checked Agnus' family tree and they had a lot of deaths by shot Grizzly Bear just like the Tana family tree, around the same time.
Seoul/Oulse has a lot of bear skin rugs around so someone had been hunting them or bringing them around.
!Important! Lothian family probably never lived in the same city: Fantasia seems to be another city, similar to Seoul/Oulse (my mistake! They looked similar, but I compared my pictures and yep, different city)
Shane Lothian in Fantasia: imgur com/uobsUe5
So Lothians can be dropped out of this picture for now.
Corrections regarding the update you wrote: Goddess West III did not give her knife to the Rainbow family, Emilio had obtained his knife somewhere, while Goddess West III gave her knife to Cornelia West, her own daughter. West A and Rainbows were cool though, we worked together to get iron and raise babies.
(Sorry, had to break the links, add the dot before com to fix 'em)
Hi, I was Goddess West III, Melody West's daughter.
I was born in the middle of Max's murder: imgur.com/t56ueXS
I think Melody might've killed her other daughter by accident, as she had this roleplay thing going on about men being slaves and all females welcomed etc.: imgur.com/Y5t5GUp
She got old soon after I was born, but my brothers kept feeding me.
Funnily enough an Eve spawned in the middle of the village: imgur.com/5TbFw3o
Eve Rainbow: 678003
Her son Emilio Rainbow carried a knife in his backpack.
I named two of the Eve's kids, her son Brock (West now) and her grandson Clayton (also West now). Brock told me he was the original Eve West.
Here we are talking about the knife and stuff: imgur.com/rqoBrV5
So yeah I gave my knife and backpack to Cornelia West (as Emilio Rainbow stared at us, haha), told her to keep it safe (my last words) and she and Opal seem to have kept the line going nicely after that.
I think I've been to this desert heavy city(?) few times: as Shane Lothian, Selena Tana and Goddess West III, with the sign changing from Fantasia to Seoul to Oulse.
Back when Shane Lothian was there (Fantasia), there were like five knives around, I carried three of them and almost got stabbed (stole that stab-happy woman's knife after that).
Back when Selena Tana was there (Seoul), she was the last woman alive (daughter ran off) and she was killed by a shot Grizzly Bear, but Angus West seems to have lived after her.
When Goddess West III was there (last girl alive until that Eve happened), the sign read Oulse.
(I'm new at the forums, created an account for this thread, hopefully I didn't break any rules with the images, I didn't find any posts about forum rules)
