It is always fun, challenging and diverse and never gets boring
The most-cursed player currently has 104 active curses against them (104 distinct people have cursed them w/in the last 7 days).

What i would like to see:
- Curse time only disappears when playing.
Currently if you get cursed your curses will disappear after 7 days no matter if you play or not, if a griefer has multiple accounts, they can just switch between them.
- Every time you curse the same person the curse time doubles.
For example you curse someone for the first time, than this person gets a curse time of 6 hours, meaning in the next 6 hours he plays he cannot get born near you. If you than meet that person again in another life and curse him again he gets 12 more hours added to his curse time, the next time 24 hours more.
- Your children and grandchildren cannot give birth to people you cursed
So even if one of your kids runs away it cannot give birth to a person your cursed and this applies even after you arr dead. But does not carry on to your grand grand children.
Lowering the range will make it so whoever is attempting to attack you will already need to basically be on your screen which should automatically be a red flag if someone is armed with a bow in the middle of town.
Lets say someone is far away from you, he can see you but you cant see him, can he not just right click on you to walk towards you and then when he is in range just shift right click you in order to attack you?
If he does it correctly you dont gain more time to prepare yourself, since he wont stop on the way towards you.
A lower range could give you a chance to shift right click him before he shift right clicks you (need very quick reactions for that)
But if jason implements what thaulos suggested than you would get a notification as soon as he attacks you, so if he targets you from far away you have more time to prepare yourself and even after he stabs you you can still pull out your knife and stab back (in the 5 second window)
If two growling people meet, they injure each other.
A special notification would be sent to you if you were targeted by a growl. It would hopefully give you time to respond in kind.
If you are being targeted by a growl and you use a weapon to target yourself, you automatically growl back to whoever is growling at you. Helpful in crowded situations.
When you get stabbed or shot, you become "recently injured" and still able to do actions for a few seconds (5 seconds?). After that you become "fully injured". "Recently injured" would allow you to pull out the knife and stab them back. Or if you are medic you could drop apron with pads in hopes someone else could use them to heal you. (you shouldn't be able to self heal)
I think these are some very nice ideas and would be a great addition to the game.
A notification for when you get targeted could be a special face expression and or sound you make (fear/scream)
Growl range should be limited to vanilla Field of Vision.
I think the current growl range is 7 tiles, which is inside the vision field of the vanilla client.

You can see there are 7 tiles to the left.
The vanilla vision field changes depending on your movement.
An Eve should start a new family, she should never have the need to kill anyone.
What if you are an Eve and your first kid is a griefer, he/she kills all her siblings before they can grow up and defend themselves and you can only watch.
But i like the idea that Eves cant kill, i think most of the time the Eve should be fine, and griefing Eves are a much bigger problem.
I like the idea that when you kill someone you will also die unless someone feeds you.
So it could be maybe so that attacking someone is hungry work but also removes your yum bonus (but doesnt break your chain)
Multiple griefers could still kill and not die by feeding each other, but they would be slowed down because they cant kill at the same time.
Make it so the last person who growls always wins, instead of the first person.
if there are 5 griefers in a group in discord.
Than even if 4 of them are cursed from everyone on the server, the remaining 1 can join and go into the wild and give birth to the other 4.
Also some people have several accounts, the curse time is counting even if you are not playing, it should only go down while you are playing.
@jinbaili83 the curse logs are not correct as far as i know, last time i looked at them i found out that only some curses get logged.

tried to install it but I got an error.
What do I do? Do I have to reinstall the game for it to work?
There is no installation, you only have to copy the exe file into your One Hour One Life folder and start it
The error says SDL.dll is missing, the sdl file is inside your ohol folder, so you already need to have the game installed and then just copy the mod into the right folder and start it.

I really appreciate the work you've done on it, with the coordinates and the keyboard commands.I've played this game so much with just the mouse I've had serious problems with my right wrist, and, using my left hand more and my right less has alleviated a lot of the pain, allowing me the comfort to play even more.

You can click on a coord to make it your 0,0 position and all other coords will be relative to it.
In your example, this would look like this:
E -6, -326
T 0, 0
So you would need to go 6 blocks to the left and 326 blocks down to get to the E coord
the best weapon to defend your village are bows
the best weapon to attack other villages are swords
it is because most of the time only a few people attack a village, so you need a short weapon cooldown as attacker,
but if you have many people, the short cooldown doesnt matter and a bow is much better
If you have a cute baby, and you dont want it to grow up and become an ugly man, just keep feeding it the special fruits so it can always be your baby <3

No, the rules have changed, jason made updates:
- you can curse people from other families
- war swords dont work on default, you first have to declare war on another family
so if the family is not at war with you, dont kill, unless you know its a griefer ofcourse
If you eat the fruit you become younger, you age backwards for some years.
The bush that grows the fruit can only grow on top of the tarr monument in the center of the map.
It should be hard to create it, maybe you need to place gold or endstones in it to activate it.

Best is rabbit pie or rabbit carrot pie.
One person can get rabbits the other person farms wheat and makes pies.
The rabbit fur can also be used for clothes and backpacks.
The wheat can also be used for baskets.

Local personal curses replaces centralized curse server. Each player on a server gets one token per 30 minutes (was 1 per 2 hours) to curse another player. That marks the player for 48 hours, preventing them from getting born within 50 tiles of the cursing player. If a cursed player runs out of mothers inside the Eve window, they become an Eve. If a cursed player runs out of mothers outside of the Eve window, they go to donkeytown.

Families start out in neutral state and cannot use swords against each other. Unilateral war is possible when elders speak WAR in the target family's language (and then both sides are at war). Peace can be set by elders from both families saying PEACE in the target language, and then that PEACE treaty can only be broken by elders from both families saying WAR. So, unilateral war is possible at first, but after peace is established bilaterally, it must be broken bilaterally.
What fences still need:
- if you repair one fence, all adjacent fences will also be repaired, could even be so it repairs fences up to 3 tiles away
(this would fix the corner problem and would make it much easier to repair fences in general, which is a boring job to do)
- "MY FAMILY OWNS THIS" gives ownership to the gate to your whole family, if a new player gets born to your family, he/she will automatically have access to the gate.
(this would make it much easier to maintain many gates around your village, allowing families to make more gates)
