Im getting old. Im not up to date on the new spangled slang for everything. My kids probably are though.

I really think that having the berry farm can now hold over a vilage through the tough times, especially if you get planting right away. By the time i died we had staggered berry production in a 10 by 10 grid that could have fed everyone if the popcorn ran out.

Although we still had players (kids) die right next to food. It gave the town time to grow and work on projects that otherwise would have been spent waiting on corn to grow. Great for the new players too. Lots of snacks and can teach them how to plant.

Over all im ok with the update now that i have the mechanics down. Althoug soil sucks and takes a ton of room.

Berry farm is the way to go. Then get the xorn planted. If bunnies carrots for pie or just bunny pie. Carrots seem like a wast now days. Corn feeds a lot more people but takes a long time to get going. Still burning through a ton of soil. And having kids die right next to food.

Too bad we cant have a server for forum members. To test and respond to updates. Everyone here seems to be the dedicated players anyways.

How do i get the wild corn and how do i get seeds from plants. Not reusing soil sucks. Spent my whole life running for soil. Nurf carrots then.

Just sent you both the game file and the SDTout.txt with a link to download both from my dropbox. Hope this helps you track down any bugs, was a really bouncy game, worst i have ever seen.

If you leave the program running it records even when you are not playing. Close the client out between games.

Town was full of a lot of new players. Was communicating with them well and ahowing them how to farm and build a well. Orginized the tools and helped save the town. Then blam. Shot through the heart. The nube that picked the seed row did take revenge for me i see. So atleast he will have a taste for blood from now on.

Why even build a town and work to improve if one person ruins it for the other 20 playes in that town.

Maybe your right and as soon as we are able we kill everyone doing anything that looks like it could help the town. Might be fun to wipe a couple of servers. Atleast that way when everyone quits the game it will have to be fixed.

Dont get me wrong i love teaching new players. Thats the only reason i play. I was jist pointing out the number of times i have apawned into a vilage like that.

I had one great spawn yesterday as an eve and before i could move a snake got me. but such is life and death in the game.

I think it might be started by bad info to new members somehow.

I think addoption would be no harder to code then the father thing. Its all up to who writes the code.

How about something simple. Like when you say the phrase "love you wife x" or "love you husband x" it shows on the family tree as a husband and wife. I think it would be interesting. I know i have had a wife in the game. We were co dependent in our tasks and worked well together, raising kids and making pies and cloths. Tending to the milkweed and running gor carrot carts. Was a fun dynamic to the game that jist clicked.
