As if Toxics behavior couldn’t get any worse, he’s trying to steal accounts too. What a loser.
Hypocrisy at its finest. Griefer be thy name.
Its called the-street for a reason.

1. Call people pedos
2. Act surprised when banned
They did last I tried, maybe I should do a rerun of that challenge at some point and confirm.
As I mentioned in the post, replacing the berry trees in the tutorial with better food would probably do. I just think it’s incredibly counterproductive that newbies are taught to eat the absolute worst foods they could eat. With the nerfs and all.
Thanks Captain Obvious.
You might think this is directed towards new players from the title, but no this is aimed towards you Jason. The tutorial simply isn’t good enough to prepare newbies for the game. This is a pretty well known fact. It basically only teaches you about early game, which newbies are hardly gonna see, and even they did they’d be dead there within minutes. But all that is besides the point.
It is well known now to people who check the forums and the development in general that most food now will eventually become 1 pip per bite (every food with 6 or lower pips on Onetech), problem with this is that newbies are taught in the tutorial to stay alive by eating berries. Sure they’re also shown some wild food that they’ll barely ever see unless they travel, but there needs to be more better foods shown off in the tutorial. As of now newbies are taught to eat probably the worst food you could possibly eat (thx pein and miskas for the stats you provided in my last thread) in a town. This causes water to run out faster than ever, keeping up berry bushes for 6 pips worth of food each. I’ve taught a lot of of newbies in my time playing this game, and I’ve had to teach most of them how to eat better foods like mutton pies and stew, because most of them literally just know how to eat berries. And with the food nerf right now, there hasn’t been less time for vets to teach them to know any better.
So what would be my solution to this? Make a good showcase in tutorial. Show new players how to eat common and good foods found in towns, such as pies, stew and milk. It shouldn’t be the job of veterans to teach new players how to eat properly. That’s the tutorials job. The easiest way to do this would probably be to replace most of the berry bushes in the tutorial with actual decent food.
I apologize in advance for the rants.

I stand by a universal, no-questions asked refund policy for anyone and everyone, no matter how long they've had the game, or how much they played.
I have sent refunds to a few people who have 400+ hours in the past.
When the "infinite carrots" were fixed a few years ago, someone emailed me about how I had totally ruined the game, and they demanded a refund, even though they had 200+ hours, which was a lot, given how long the game had been out. I sent them a refund right away. Then the next day, they changed their mind and wanted their account back, but it was too late.
Kinda curious on this, because Spoonwood asked this on another thread, but how much do Steam players receive if they were to ask for a refund. Do you just give them your share from the initial sale, or do you refund them the entire amount they purchased it for on Steam. Not looking for a refund btw, even if I decide to completely drop the game later on, I've more than gotten my money's worth.
Ain't gonna lie. This looks awesome
Does anyone have a spreadsheet of food efficiency for food after the rebalance? Has the downfall of milk made other corn foods more attractive options, like tortilla chips and tacos? Or is it more or less the same?
Well done. It’s certainly not an easy thing to learn nowadays.
Neat necro.
A mango tree in the savanna? What is this sorcery?
I find it fascinating that even under extreme pressure, we still do not see villages living off milk as a primary diet. I see it made in a few villages, here or there, but never see villages that do a "milk only" or even "milk mostly" diet.
It suggests to me that milk is broken, but NOT in the way Jason thinks. I have tried to establish milk in villages over and over, with limited success. Even when it looks so much better on paper, it just doesn't seem to perform very well in the game.
I think the major reason it's not as widely adapted as it should is the bucket requirement, and many seem to think that buckets should be reserved for water.

You literally said that we adapted by getting used to freezing, which we didn't. We adapted by finding new ways of getting warm. If you meant that we adapted by making clothing (like I said) you didn't formulate that especially well. Also it's funny you mention spoon, who would never defend the temp update.
oh I forgot to continue to argue with you. here is a quoted thing so we can keep arguing.
Lmao. Here's my counter-argument:

If Jason is willing to give me a refund anyone else here shouldn’t have a problem, plus he knows he hasn’t lived to his promises that’s why he gives refunds so easily.
I wouldn't assume this intent, since Jason has basically always had this generous refund policy.

People adapted by actually making clothing, which was practically unheard of before the change. Not defending the food nerf btw, that change is just bad all around.

Would also be nice if food in general was more balanced. Maybe instead of just cutting pip value in half, Jason could've nerfed the most efficient food (mutton and rabbit pies, milk) and buff the harder-to-make food that really isn't worth the effort currently when it comes to their pip value tbh (tortilla chips, salsa, ketchup, tacos, ice cream, cooked fish). Like actually reward the effort it takes to make that kinda food. With the pip overflow mechanic this shouldn't be that difficult to balance.
Who needs to actually rebalance food, when you can just cut all food values in half.
Please email me for a refund:

If you seriously want a refund then do this Toxic.
Stackable hot rods and pipes would be nice.
Just made a github issue about it. The ability to stack pipes and rods would especially be a nice QoL change for getting oil, since you have no idea how many pipes you'll need due to the RNG.
Steel pistons stacking is a great QoL change for engine makers. It was always difficult to get the space you needed.
