Re: how about instead of nerfing food pips, nerf the availability of food

I like the food nerf. It shows how much a berry should actually fill you up. But I don't like the fact that death is certain once you leave town without food in your bag (cmon let there at least be one berry left).

Also, the only real bottleneck right now is water. I find it to be outrageous to be able to create four pies (16 pieces of food, transportable in one bag!) out of two bowls of water. Nothing comes even close to that.

Would also be nice if food in general was more balanced. Maybe instead of just cutting pip value in half, Jason could've nerfed the most efficient food (mutton and rabbit pies, milk) and buff the harder-to-make food that really isn't worth the effort currently when it comes to their pip value tbh (tortilla chips, salsa, ketchup, tacos, ice cream, cooked fish). Like actually reward the effort it takes to make that kinda food. With the pip overflow mechanic this shouldn't be that difficult to balance.

For the time being, I think we have enough content.

Unless you are eve/early gen. Then everything is magically more filling.
