a multiplayer game of parenting and civilization building

I've uninstalled the game and maybe come back someday, but for now I'm done, I hope you will find a way to make people use properties and they will be ok with that.
And for game I wish it will be well balanced, villages are not in great condition now, it's not in my taste to focus so much on preparing foods. Cheers and have fun y'all!
Players sucks at organizing.
Fighting with Bobo's group back at Zucc and Punkytown - good times. I remember I encountered some discord group who's been fighting with them and I was so happy they help to beat the shit outta them. ![]()
Got it. To save my village I need to roleplay as prince who's making harem. Then stash all females inside a property!
Y'all will be pushed until fences will change to absolutely needed for survival. For that, all kind of wells should be destroyed by griefers, not only engine, plus ponds should be nerfed.

You can't make more content without nerfing everything first.
I'm quoting myself, because I've predicted massive nerf. So, we can now expect bug fixes for next 2-3 weeks, then new content will finally motivate us to crawl from starving stage.
I just starved in two lifes, no food at all, no berries, carrots, pies, I saw some soups, but soon ppl drank them, I only managed to send my boy for calf (he will succeed if villagers won't turn last dry corn into popcorn, lol) and farm a couple of carrots. Lol wtf?
My monitor stopped working, I have only slow laptop or phone for games, while everyone else has suffered in OHOL I spent pleasant morning with You are Hope on japanese server. ![]()
I lived there, nice place (I made road for that snow biome and I was sad because no one used it, but now they do! ;>>). Outsiders can't stole kero from snow, we can bring water from ponds. For some time we can be quite independent from others, even strike against race restrictions.
Animals could be lured to town if they smell meat. Roasted rabbit will produce visible heat, that will attract a bear, also a swarm of flies from dead animal bodies. To prevent it, the meat should be stored in house, it will make houses truly useful.
Also bears can eat muttons and rabbits, right now no animal is feeding itself. It will be fun to see that bears is not only chasing ppl, but also eating our foods. xD
Good point Crumpaloo.
I was thinking about history, if we had memorable events or places after iron update and holemands and I don't think so. World was more realistic when there was big towns and small settlements.
If there's a boredom in big cities I suggest make something for that stage like contamination, no need to nerf previous stages which are quite challengeable.
I also miss being a healer.
And I started to dislike race restrictions.
Via radio!
Today I lived couple lives. I was ginger lady Demetria, who convinced white guy to borrow me a horse, so I could go make some kero (S-E from our town). While doing it I stumbled upon abandoned town, with neat stuff, nice foods, and a radio...
When I did my job as ginger, I came back in another life for the radio parts. I installed it in brown family, but they died out. So I took it to Tarr family. Then, as white guy, I watched how things get escalated pretty quickly. First, somebody start some show, then someone started to arguing with the radio hoast. I observed how more people started to gather next to radio, there were groups of 4-5 ppl in both towns.
After some time I lose my interest in that, so I made a journey to seek new brown family (north-west, far). When I was coming back, I spotted murdering (!) to the east. Finally I came across ginger guy, who was stealing our radio! In a short conversation I convinced him that I bringed that parts, he let me take it back and keep it, if we cool down with that trash talk.
These are my thoughts after that experiment - radio is a dangerous thing
and conflict can escalate very quickly, war is in the air.
It just need a spark. It's either boredom and trash talking, or stealing stuff from others. But! 'Radio' conflicts involves bigger group of people. I don't think stealing would provoke war, and recently I saw that kind of conflict between browns and gingers.
Also I am curious - some people shouted about declaring war. Why we can't declare war, as elders, through radio?
Eve would spawn in biome matching to her race (grasslands would be for whites).

Each zone would have badlands for iron. World won't be infinite anymore, not in all directions.
Each family could gain neccesary things in different way. For example - you need needle from bone for bellows, as ginger you can take bone from fish, etc. All families would wear skins from different animals (gingers - seal, whites - rabbit, desert - lion, jungle - tiger).
Original Eve was banished from heaven. Each biome would have it's own, very rare zone with plenty of stuff - like oasis in desert. Could ancient civilizations lives there, from where our Eve's was banished? That would explain where they came from.
I was Eve Trotter (whites), we are above gingers, pretty close.
You called them blacks? You racist!! KILL!
Someone moved another brown Eve to Koch town.
Actually berries are neccesary to be in center, easiest to pick up or learn how to tend them, when u catch fever you will run into berries in hope someone will feed u.
And I was afraid I'm cursing too much.
this is the same person that built all the little trading posts that have roads going in all four directions.
This person just wanted to build giant swastika.
I don't track nicknames, but I cursed people for:
- trying to kill me for being only one black in town
- rude racist comments
- being cultist and sacrificing kids (I'm against)
- stealing stuff
- being a bitch (rude behaviour, endless arguing & fighting with others) - when it's just too much. sometimes I don't curse for it, it's a fun shitshow ![]()
- being too emotional (instant arguing without giving chance to explain, arowsing others)
- AFK's
- ppl who wanna kill someone
At times like this, I wish we had a karma system, so finding decent players would be much easier.
We can have something similar, but nobody uses it now (I don't mean discord) and I can't discuss this on public. ![]()
There's a camera a tank of kerosene inside but no trace of your car. Looks like someone was building wings, probably to make it a plane.
Not mine. But I would like to see another wall inside the property, with locked doors, the car maker could stash the key somewhere and use it when needed.
Then, set up landing strips near worked oil pumps and voila.
If only things like bow+arrow or whole newcomen core could be carried in tire cart as one thing. ![]()
without knowing that they got made by players in the game, any claim about engines or pump valves with respect to locking them up, coming out of this is meaningless.
In two scenarios
1. we don't stash engines behind a gate
2. we stash them
in second scenario every town has his own, no need to steal anymore, so it's more respectful for their makers.
How we can disable tracks now?
You can't delete whole topic, but thanks for explaining.
Not long ago, Jason appeared in gingers town. He built a fence and stored diesen engine there, along with a pump valve.

The fence wasn't a long-therm solution, so I built stone walls instead.

See that ginger inside? He was locked there, using kero on the car (fortunately not all), while owner wasn't in town. I was black, so I don't know how it happens.
On the next day people was still using the property. Then, the gate falls during my life, so I made new one. I was waiting to see if my kids where capable of owning, but they wasn't even responding to 'hi'. When I was going for iron with an engine, some guy interested in my actions. I explained myself and that we're keeping things there. He said there is no such as 'we', so I proposed (because he was so curious of town goods) I'll give him the gate. He said I should give it to family, I did. Minutes later I started to think about it.
Yes, family needs it, but there are griefers in family. Couple days ago, I saw a guy who took a radio (daniel cells), in front of everyone, from gingers bb room and carried it outside of town. I asked wtf he is doing, no response, so I cursed him. So, I thought we need to keep radio behind the gate (receiver was already there, visible from bb room).
After I gave ownership to fam, the radio was stolen the same way. I catched my daughter on doing it. She was suprised and wanted to kill me xD, I cursed her too.
Because of that, I am SURE that giving gate to whole family is a mistake. See, that guy was right - there is no such as 'we'. There is a collective of family who's working, doing nothing/not so much or griefing in a town. There is also a group, not big, who's making diesels, oil (1% of players bringing it, right?) and radios. These valuable things should be stored and the gate should belong to two types of people:
- someone who you observe for some time, so you know that person is working for town
- someone who knows how to make oil, or radio, and can prove it by explaining it
I'm not saying there won't be failures with this approach, but it will reduce losing valuable stuff.
