I think most of the rage that comes from the community comes from the lack of feedback regarding these extreme updates. it also doesnt help how every 2 weeks or so you are adding more mechanics or features instead from tweaking some that are really needed (storage, cooking, Quality of lifes updates) besides your total silence from your part regarding community suggestions. People are starting to feel ignored or that you dont listen at all meanwhile you add some feature that changes the game totally and i think the swords were the breaking point.
10/10 gameplay experience i would have my daughters /die again
The community must have touched a nerve in you to try to sabotage Toxics apology just because no one was willing to accept your "i am not wrong, everyone else is"
Well, You guys think this game is about living peaceful a life, planting and doing stuff the way you want, but its not. Jason is being faithful to what he proposed, a game that simulates life from begining of mankind til nowadays or even the future in where you have to survive not only the nature, but also other players, just like life is. And its a game, it has to have challenges and i think the challenges we have in this game are a genius thing, like to find out how to talk to someone in other languages, to teach kids, protect the village, not starving, etc. Besides, the game brings us all this peace by peace for us not to get bored, which is amazing. Don't forget guys, its a surviving game
Just because it sounds good in paper it doesnt means that is going to be great in practice, in this update jason added heavy paranoia against strangers and its going to probably lead to towns to be closed up at all times and make foreigners or travelers to get killed at first sight to prevent "raids or griefing" you just cant simulate life in a game which lacks the needed resources for an actual civilization. This update killed trading between towns until jason adds something to engage trust again
you will need to make a lineage-ban for the ones who murdered you with a sword aswell to prevent trying to sabotage those who raided you in the first place

What are you seeking is ruining others people experience and fun for you to gain it only yourself, flexing about it in the forums and even talking as yourself as some kind of celebrity speaks more about you than those you kill in the game. The world would be nicer without criminals and the game would be nicer without griefers, the difference here is that in the game griefing or anything related to it could be reduced a lot if it werent for some ideals that has Jason. trying to excuse yourself or the direction of the game with making people as a "police" is just a lazy solution for a much bigger problem. Most communitys doesnt like griefers and certainly no one likes the ones that like to brag about it like some kind of achievement for making someones day a little worse
Spending 1 hour of your life working on a town to be killed for something that is not your fault or because of self-defense and being tagged as the bad guy is frustating because you did nothing wrong, if you cant understand that is because you have never suffered it or you are the one that does it in the first place
I have been having the same problems just after playing the update, it may be a thing with the client that lags with every transition
You try way too hard to stand out as a griefer, you will never be remembered once you are gone
