As a payment I would like to have an apron and access to some stew and mutton meat pie. I don't need anything else. Knife would be good too but I am willing to ask people to kill the sheep for me.

Those who get the names are always my best kids !

Hello, yes I would like to apply for the position as a shepard. I have had some experience in past lives and sheep love me.

I also have a cleaning obsession and will likely be running around and try to clean up the mess that you usually find in bigger towns. So the pen will always be tidy.

Frances Farthing stopped and looked over his work. The huge berry farm started to look more organised than he had found it in his younger years. Wooden floors surrounded a three by three berry group and a stone floor marked the corners.

His back ached due to the constant bending down, tearing out some berries and watering those he wanted to keep. But he was pleased with himself. He had done a good job.

The city was located in a good place, in the middle of a desert and swamp biome, not far from the green biome. They had everything a good city needed. Wheat, carrots, berries, sheep and cows and even a big farm with beans, corn and squash for stew.

Frances smiled, closed his eyes and listened to the sounds filling the air around him. The bakers trying to keep up with the amount of mutton meat that needed to be cooked. The sheep crying when being sheered and the carts creaking while carrying heavy boards and stones. But all this will be gone soon.

His heart filled with sadness. Not because he had little time left and the berry farm wasn't quite done yet but for another sadder reason. There were no more fertile females in this city.

The birthrate was pretty low in this city and some young girls had died to some deceases like "Forgot-to-eat" Syndrome. The last fertile woman gave birth to a baby boy just before turning gray. The big city he had loved so much was dying.

He sighed and started to hear a distant sound of music. His time has come and he will soon join his mother, who he had buried next to a beautiful tree. He looked one more time over his berries and went to the bakery to say his good byes.

His eyes were weak and heavy and he was very tired. He wanted to say good bye to everyone but just before he could say a word, he saw something. Something he had never thought would happen.

A young woman appeared next to him and soon a baby was born. It was an Eve.

His weak heart skipped a beat and he was so happy. The city will soon be filled with people one more time and his little farm will be alright. He managed to greet the new woman before the music stopped and darkness embraced him.

Death by old age.

It's confusing because I am not used to it yet. But it's handy. You can swap your knife that you just gor from with the pie that you already had in your backapck without putting it down, risking it to get taken away by someone else

I would love to keep it in game.

It's nice, you can play with it while you wait till your older, you can take it off when you are too hot or give it to someone else who needs it more.

It's nice, doesn't hurt anyone, keep it.

I love this game. I love being a shepherd, doing some compost and baking for the whole family.

I am usually a positive, kind-hearted player. If I starve, it's okay, should have been more careful. If I get killed, that's okay too because a new life will let me forget that it ever happened. I don't griefe, I don't kill unless I have real proof that that person is a bad person. I help where I can and even do the jobs no one wants to do. I love teaching new players, reading their happy response once they understood one little thing in this game.

But the lifes I lived these past days had worn out my positivity. It makes me sad and angry and disappointed. It is not the game that makes me feel this way. It is some people that play it. Here are some lives I wish I had never lived :

                                                                                                            __________________ 1. _____________________

I was born to Aurora Sass II. She had given birth to five kids only few seconds appart. She managed it well, keeping every kid fed and named while staying fed herself as well. She wished little Pablo Sass good luck and off he was searching for work.

Few years later, a murder happened, it was my brother Sarah Sass II who was shortly killed after by my mother. She got later shot by an arrow by my brother Diego Sass. After he death, I took her apron as a little memory to my dear mother and had found a whool hat that I wanted to dye later. There were only few people so I wanted to do my best to help the town get back on his feet.

Past forward few years and I found myself being chased by Peyton Sass. She just started to run after me with a knife. Without saying anything. I ran around town, asking for help, telling people that she wanted to kill me.

Why ? Well she told the others that I had killed her mother and am wearing the same gear as her. Of course I told people that it was not true. Did they believe me ? No. One conversation was like this :

"Help me / the old lady wants / to kill me / I didn't do anything"

"I know / But you can never / be too careful"

" But I'm innocent"

"Then tell her "

"She will kill me once I / stop moving / I can't work with her chasing me"

For Peyton, I was a murderer. Said something about my twin that looked like me and that I had helped him kill her mother. No one helped me. I worked and helped and no one helped me in return. In the end I got stabbed. And no one helped me, no one believed me.

                                                                                                         _____________________ 2. _______________________

The time I was killed because I took the knife from a toddler. One word. Griefer. One word from a kid that just had been born ruined the life of a man that was working since he could grab stuff. Because the kid wanted her knife back. If it was the backpack, I had swapped mine with hers. No, she wanted her knife that granny had given her.

I was called a griefer and was already as good as dead. Only one man wanted to ask me why I took the knife. The others didn't wanted to think about it, they just wanted to kill a griefer that the kid said he was.

                                                                                                       ______________________ 3. __________________________

Another town let a cursed child live, because one kid said that he was good. Said that he can be trusted. That's what is always said in the beginning until bloddy corpses appear.

To be fair, this kid helped out at the farm. But I got killed by one of the twins soon after so I can't say if he stayed nice or not. One of the twin killed a player pretty much in the middle of the town. And no one did something. I went take a bow and arrow and shot him while his twin was feeding him. When I tried to escape, he stabbed me. No one tried to heal me or go after the guy. They just stood there as I was telling them his name.

There are other lives where people got killed because they were "a griefer". One player got shot because he was "using all of the bowls" but another player who was running around with a cart full with baskets and never letting it go isn't griefing.
Killing children that just got hair because they were "griefing".
Chidlren suiciding in early Eve camps or the last girl demanding to get the backpack or else she would suicide.

I remember the amazing lifes I had. My cursed daughter and my sweet twin sons. Adrian Tree and his friend Harold. My drugged afterlifes. My first successful Eve-Run. The time when I was married to another man and died together of old age. The nice little house north from a big city that some of us had started and continued to build.

Those lifes got rarer and rarer. Why ? Because people who want to RP or have a nice time are called griefers or sponges. Aren't Mothers who just stand still next to each other holding their infant and not helping at the farm sponges too ? Why do people feel the need to stab someone as soon as they hear griefer or curse someone as soon as they are told to do without even thinking about it ?

Yes, some deaths I could have avoided. But I don't like killing without being sure and since I don't kill so often, I am not an expert doing it.

I don't want to attack anybody or bitching about how mean everyone is or that I can't play with all these people around. I love this game and I will continue playing it. I just could really use a good life once in a while. Please, be nice to each other.

Not at all !

You can go up to someone and ask him to teach you what they are doing and they will be happy to show you. Take a bowl of berries and have it always with you while they are teaching you so you'll not starve.

Don't be discourage when they don't want to teach you for the moment or when you are doing a mistake. Everyone did them when they started out and when people start to yell at you, ignore them, they are not worth your time and nerves.

Just find a friendly soul to teach you something new, grab a bowl of berries or stew and you'll be fine !

Today again I saw a grandma gearing a toddler with all her clothes, including the knife in her backpack, with the words "I usually don't gear kids but ..." So I swapped the Backpack, having the knife in my possession, secure and ready to give it to someone who need it more like Baker.

I was tending the carrot farm and helped making compost. This little brat went to her mom, told her and everyone that I was a griefer. Mommy, Brat-Toddler and one guy came to the soil spot I had dug up and put in baskets to get it back to town for the berries.

This Lady stabbed me, without asking, without thinking, saying she killed a griefer. WTF ?!?! The guy who came with them probably just wanted to talk and told to heal me but pads were too far to heal me in time.

This makes me so mad! I was helping, except me and one guy NO ONE was making compost and the berries were dying.

I bet this player was new and just kills everyone who was called a griefer by her shitty potato head toddler.

Edit : Did I mentioned that I was on a horse ? It escaped thanks to the nice lady stabbing me !

Sry had to get some steam off. I feel better now. Carry on.

Oh yeah I remember seeing the little rose bush planted next to some graves !

It was fun, everyone was working and doing their best ^^ I loved that people would come by to the pen I was working on and borrowed the shovel. And each time they brought it back to me, so nice ! Not many to that.
But I think after everyone in generation 2 passed away, things got a bit more complicated. There were still people working on the farm but not expanding it for the amount of new people being born.

There was even a girl who said that there were no jobs to do, even though we didn't had carrots, wheat, sheep, sheers, etc. ^^ Many starved, which is a shame, the town was really nice !

Fuck you ! You were such a sweet boy at the beginning, hunting down those rabbits like I asked you to. But then you started to hunt down our townspeople and ended two lives (That I know about).

I'm sure that you thought that after killing Zelda, you had killed the last fertile female. Well guess what, the family line is still going thanks to your sister !

To June :

I don't know how but I'm glad you survived your brothers madness. After I had killed him, I went back to what I thought was a dead village but when I saw you in the corner of my screen, I felt so happy and relieved. I hope you and Eve Moist live long and have a successful life !

Also big thanks to Juniper Joanis who named my girls. Thanks to you, the family name is still alive.

Most of my Eve runs end with me. I have a lot of babies that suicide once they notice that their mom is an Eve. Had three runs where those who stayed where new players who died out of starvation even though there is enough food around and I kept feeding them berries.

It's not fun. You find a perfect place but there are no children to continue the work.

Don't get me wrong, I suicide too. But for various reasons :

- born as a boy to a place with little food and an overpopulation, I suicide so they won't use more resources.
- born to an Eve searching for a place with a newborn in her arms
- etc

I always stay where I am born and try to help and to live as long as possible, especially when born as a girl in an Eve camp. I know the frustration working hard to make this place work just to see no one taking over it.

Use a wild carrot and transform it in a domestic one like D3mon1cblack just told ^^

If you want to get your yum bonus up, one carrot pie is enough. Some carrots will always be eaten by some random player passing by so why not use one for a good cause ?

it isn't so much a problem anymore, you can just swap backpack and clothes with babies... so if you have an empty backpack and apron just remove them then swap with the baby, tbh i also do that with elderly when i see they are too old but still cling to the knives for too long without looking for someone to give it away.

But then the child will still have clothes while everyone else who has been born years before and working ever since is still naked. How many times have I worked at the bakery as a toddler and years later I see a little brat running around town, fully geared with apron and the only knife. It can't hold the knife yet to cut the bread or kill the many sheeps we have.

And talking to ohers to swap their bp with the toddler is useless unless it's someone intelligent. "Why would you swap it?" "It's his, he got it from granpa" "But he looks so cute"

I even had a daughter who wanted the only bp but I gave it to my son who wanted to search for iron. When we told her no, she suicided. Other new players come to me and demand clothes, while standing in a desert.

I had one new player, Sasha. She seemed lost and confused so I tried to help her. I showed her how to cook eggs since the berry farm was being tended. With time, she managed to make her first omelett and was very happy.

I told people that she was new and that they should let her do the omeletts, since it was an easy thing to do. But even though they listen, they didn't let her. Every time I came back with baskets of eggs, I would see how someone would cook them while she was trying to figure out where and what to click. And when she was too slow and burned the egg, I had to remind people that she was new and not as fast as we are.

She died probably because she forgot to eat ^^

What I want to say by this, please please if you see someone teaching a new player don't interfere. Let them try and make that simple task on their own. You can help them, sure, but don't take over just because she/he isn't fast enough.

Those who want to learn from you, will listen to you. Be nice and patient with them. Everyone had to start from zero and it's nice to have someone who takes care of you while you are figuring things out. If they die, they die, we all had to go through that phase.

What I sometimes tend to do, in bigger cities and I don't want to do the same job over again, I tell people to send new players to me. I gladly show them around, tell them the unwritten rules and keep them fed with my bowl of berries.

I'm pretty sure that Jason is the only one that can fix it (If not, pls correct me). He is having his time off so once he is back he will fix the paper curse issue. We just have to wait.

Until his return, read every paper once you are old enough to hold stuff. When they start with "Curse ..." take them and hide them far away from the city. Stop before you are ten years old.

Hold the ( preferably a fresh forged "virgin") knife and repeat that sentence over and over again.

I stood by a carrot row for at least five minutes, holding a bowl and repeating the same sentence "Those are for seeds". After putting the bowl down to refill it with berries and picking it up again, it said the sentence I was saying over and over.

Maybe it will work with the knife as well ?
