I was born into a bustling city, fields of carrots, a house, berry bushes galore. My mother decided to keep me, even though the town had plenty of hands. She named me Linus. I had one older sister and one younger one. It was about the time that I was able to speak my first few words when I met my queen. She had forged a beautiful golden crown and wore it proudly. At the time of meeting her I knew, I was going to be her heir to the throne. About 20 years later my queen falls ill, and knows her time is short-lived. She calls up my mother and asks her to pick one of her children to be the heir to the throne. My eldest sister is chosen. For the moment I'm filled with an irrational rage, "why her? The dirty carrot farmer!" I proceed to calm myself and watch the coronation. Unfortunately her time on the throne was short, as a psychopath comes in with a loaded weapon and kills her, for all the town to see. I see this and go into a bloodthirsty rage, chasing down the murderer. Unfortunately I had no way of killing him myself, so he gets away. At this point I asked the blacksmith to forge me a blade that could strike down this foe, she does this without hesitation. Soon after, my mother dies of old age, a grieving moment. My mother and sister are buried under a pine tree next to the wolf hat my mother had worn all her life. All I had left at this point were my other sister and orphaned niece. I comfort them both, soon after my niece is coronated as the new queen. This next attack was the worst, I had loved my niece since she was born. I'm walking to where the carrots are and see an arrow rip through the air, cutting my niece through her chest like a bullet, this time I was ready. I catch up to this bastard and stab him! As he falls to the ground under my blade I see him disappear in a flash and reappear across the field. That bitch must have mastered the art of wizardry. I never did catch him. By the time he got away I was already on my last few years and chasing down a murderer is tiresome. My last few years were spent preaching to the children about Carrotis and eating pie.
If anyone ever caught him that would make my day.
