title says it all im broke as a joke and want to play this game endlessly. i can in my budget afford about $5 for the game and i can pay that this moment but as of now i have to stick to my tight budget. i want to see this game grow from start to end. if anyone can suggest something or help i will help them fix computer issues for 20 hours for free (im a computer tech)

Do you have a linux machine? If you do, you can set up your own server by following the instructions here.

I have considered setting up a "poor mans server" for people who can't buy a game key but who want to play, technically it's totally legit to do so due to the whole "no copyright" set up of the game, you are paying for server access to the main servers, not the game files.

The thing is i have no knowledge of what that takes...

Hey, are you still around? I'm okay buying this for you but I need to know: how can you have the time and skills to offer twenty hours of computer tech support and not be able to freelance $20? Is there no old neighbor woman with a malware-infected computer you can clean up or something?

I'm not trying to give you grief, just honestly confused and curious about the situation you're in, when the market value of what you're offering is so much more than $20, unless you're in an extremely poor region.

U can play this game(even with other ppl on private/custom servers) by investing knowledge and time(aka github) or by buying it(which would only make it easier to set everything up and give u access to the official servers). Your choice!
