Edit: Teleporters do in fact launch off wounds.
If you've ever seen one of those single bear pits (bear enclosed in pit cage.) if you close the pit and follow the bear into its tile your wound flies off.
Was able to throw about three different bear bites off my body in the luck family town.
Had about two more on the ground before bear killed me.
To confirm you can just make a teleporter and by pressing against one of the corners while wounded will cause the wound to fly into the nearest available tile.
TL;DR Teleporters launch wounds off just like they launch items.
