Berry stakes

What is the purpose of berry bush stakes?  I was looking over their interactions and all I see is they.

1. Stop the death process while the stakes are inserted.
2. Allow you to infinitely water them every 2 seconds with no benefit.  It's like you never watered them.

This second recipe seems like a bug.

Re: Berry stakes

They are actually there to get rid of some berry bushes without waiting for them to die.

For example, you have a huge berry farm and need space to put soil and water buckets in between some rows, you can easily take out some berry bushes with those stakes and make some space.

Re: Berry stakes

Oh wow, if only i knew about the infinitely watering feature.

This would have been great when i made everything to make a deep well, but had to drain a pond... then a well. Normally not a huge issue, but on mobile it was a little draining smile trying to create a deep well just so i could fill a bucket with one click.

I ended up making a bunch of buckets.....

I think you can dig them up and turn them to firewood if im not mistaken. Can be useful to make spots to drop water and soil when berry farmer goes a little to crazy making a massive berry field..
