Hey! So I made a quick youtube video just outlining 10 things I want to see in One Hour One Life. Could you check it out and see what you think of them? I'm all open to discussion!

Might make more videos on OHOL in the future, idk yet though!

Hi Harry,
The problem is, like you say yourself in the video, one minute is one year. So all your suggestions like "day & night" and "seasons" make no sense at all. Besides for new settlers it is already very hard to get a farm going in their first life, so I don't see a reason to make that even harder. However these ideas could be fun in a custom server, but the hunger meter would have to be tweaked to deal with more extreme situations.
I am not sure about naming people, although it might be helpful to keep them apart. Your suggestion for more different people types, like ginger heads etc. could be a good alternative in my opinion.
Jason is going to add new items, I think he said like 100 per week, so he will probably also going to include other forms of transport.
Disasters. I am not a fan of those! Although it might help later on, to keep the game exiting.

Day and night would be weird. You'd have six days every second. A season would be 15 seconds long.
Mind you, carrots take "four years" to grow, so I guess we could have night last several "years" in game.

Well, this game would definitely turn to a great meme with the flashing screen.

I like the idea of naming, like "Daughter" Kate or "First Cousin" Bob. This will allow people to be directed to certain individuals that can either teach a trade or for help.

Thank you for the inputs!
Disasters would be great late game! Super high-tech civ to be pushed back a few years!!
As for day and night, I was thinking 5 minutes night, 10 minutes day. Some dual-star solar system science shit can explain that!
As for seasons, they could last 10 - 15 minutes and each reap different benefits / hazards.
Spring - greater rate of seeding from carrots
Summer - greater likelyhood of rabbits respawning faster, less water
Autumn - greater harvest rates
Winter - more water, though can't plant too much.
