Temperature Vs Pip drain rate

So a bunch of people running around naked not bothering to cloth up even though I'm literally serving up bunnies by the cartloads.

I found a few old posts and graphs on pip drain rate Vs temp but not sure if they are still valid - like betame's and Crazy Eddie's thread

I haven't gather any hard data but it feels like diminishing returns is still a thing the close you get to ideal temperature?

I seem to find a massive difference just having a loincloth versus completely naked.

PSA: please cloth up at least with a diaper dammit, I don't want to see your sausage or bearded clam

Nudity mod ftw. Everybody is a modest potato in my world.

How odd that people wouldn't gear up tho'. Do they see rabbit cloth as ugly, now that we have skirts and shorts? Free cloth is great. Or maybe the issue is low amount of thread, as all fleece is turned to bowler hats...

Well if they would even put on a bowler hat alone I wouldn’t be so pissed watching naked people munching berries.
There are plenty of thread laying about.

So I went about with baskets of loincloth and they did take up on the offer easily. Are there that many people who are so unaware of the food/temperature mechanics?

Re: Temperature Vs Pip drain rate

Since no one confirmed any old data is still applicable - I ran a rough test in tutorial since now it doesn't hit genetics score anymore anyway - standing on plains away from fire

Naked ~ 5 seconds per pip (~720 pips per hour)
Loincloth ~ 7 seconds per pip (~515 pips per hour)
Loincloth + Fur Shoes ~ 9 seconds (~400 pips per hour)
Loincloth + shoes + hat ~ 10 seconds (~360 pips per hour)
Full set (Sealskin) 12 ~ seconds (~300 pips per life)
Near fire - very slightly above ideal temp 20 seconds (~180 pips per life)

So it seems the old graph is still valid.
So it seems JUST wearing a simple loincloth can save 4 mutton pies (yes 4 whole pies) worth of pips vs going naked (205 pips - I expect some of the pips will be wasted anyway from eating a bit early sometimes) - JUST ONE RABBIT FUR
If you bother with the full set you can save 8 whole pies through your life - if there are 15 villagers on average in a town per hour - that is 120 whopping pies in an hour.

So if you're a hardcore yumster whining about people breaking your chain but insist on being naked in a non-early town - you might be fair game to me if you are in adult stage

Now I know why I am so disturbed by nudist colonies

Edit: Spelling

Also - PS - Just a loin cloth for everyone in a 15 pop village saves 60 pies an hour - totally worth getting just a cartload and bagful of furs and get everyone a diaper at least
