So fun to play the game at a fast speed of connection and ping
my normal ping i say is fine its 105 ping not fine is 500 ping thats what i have to deal with right now i cant walk normaly get stuck in the corners
teleport instead of walking
see people with bloody knifes after five minutes that they killed someone
see people but you cant interact like picking up killing nothing

Something seems to have changed, but I don't know enough about how that stuff works to do more than just share my own experiences: in terms of lagging I used to only see elastic band babies and items, flying across the screen into someone's arms. But now I've been getting a lot more of the white screen with scribbles, which I never used to experience at all until recently (~2 weeks?). Not too big of a deal for me. It seems others have worse issues so I thought I'd just add mine.

i have the suspicion that movement speed is too much ping dependant.
i had too many chasing scenes with equal equipment where i was significantly slower while chasing over 20 tiles disance.

Is there really more lag than usual on bigserver2?
During the rift, this might have happened because the villages became more cluttered (pre-rift, most villages were lost after about 20 hours, so there wasn't a chance for that many buildings, etc. to build up). Also during the rift, the bear-spawning glitch was making a lot of bears. That might have caused some extra load.
However, now that the rift is off, things should be back to normal, unless something else has changed...
Well, actually, the rift area still exists in the center of the map. So if people are still in that area, there might be a lot of clutter and bears there, which might slow things down...
I'm stuck on very crappy Internet Explorer here at the hotel, so I can't view Onemap.wondible.com If you take a look at the birth locations there, you should see whether there are still families at the center.
I'll check the server cpu load...
CPU usage on bs2 looks normal, and lower over the past week than earlier in the month. Same with network traffic and disk I/O. Lower in the past week than earlier in the month.
So... nothing seems amiss, server-side.

I have pretty good ping and I still get the kill glitch. I stab someone and they kind of teleport/move fast elsewhere and don't appear bloody. If not for the sound effect of stabbing I would assume no stabbing had occurred. Things usually look fine before the stabbing itself.
My guess is some actual bug on the code, or too much work needed on a single frame and client glitches somehow?

I've had the kill glitch since the "ghost" fix update. It takes them a few seconds of being on screen to look bloody. Usually the only thing that will tip me off that they need help is their red text.
I'm Slinky and I hate it here.
I also /blush.
