i name if i have the time or the kid wants desparately to have a name, usually they die anyway, so what's the harm

had now several noobs trying to name a kid as male or grandmother, yep ...

I was in a family with the last name Potter.

Almost everyone was named Harry, or Hari.

I tried to name my first Baby Gandalf because you gotta love mashing up random fandoms.

I either give myself the last name Tarr or Ree as an eve and then proceed to name all my children Ree. Had a few babies run into the wilderness when they realized they were a little Ree Tarr.

when i am a Eve I always name myself Star, and my first born Alpha, sometimes the second beta, but it changes for betina, so i get creative at this point altough Hope almost ever comes to a girl since hope in this game is the strongest thing you can have and most needed.

I like greek style names such as Octavia and Augustus.

But also when I'm in the mood for fun I name them after foods. My recent last name was Butterfield and I tried to name one baby Jelly (it got renamed to Jeliya or something) and another baby Peanut (renamed to something else too). That would have been fun if the names stuck.

Then there are times I'm feeling sentimental and name them things like Promise, Love or Precious.

I normally name myself Spiegel, but my style always varies when I name my kids. But if I have a boy I actually like right off the bat, like, if I -know- this kid will survive and possibly not be a dick, I name him Spike.

i was pretty old and my two big kids died or went away so i kept last tree, i gave them the names Lux. Fux(changed to Future) and Mux, was funny

other game tried smithing, son born, after hesitating a bit, i kept him. You are woodson, bring me wood son!
next time i gonna do waterson and farmson, maybe hunterson xD

I recommend STONEWALLSON, STONEPOLESON, which is more luxurious and permanent to you.

They will remain on the server forever.

BELLTOWERSON is also appropriate, as every EVE in the neighborhood COMEs every time he says something.

I usually name myself Wulff, but I don't have any specific naming system with my kids. I use Alice quite a but for girls though.

I've used the last name Forest a couple of times and like naming my kids after various trees-either from the game or New Zealand natives. I've also done colours and animals this way.

Other times I just name the kids after random items I want to make or problems I'm dealing with- Basket, Lag, Starving etc

Usually I give my kids "hippy" names, like Skye, Forest, Willow, etc. Sometimes boys complain that their names are too girly, I've had a few suicide over it. Once I had a kid I tried to abort but he followed me across 4 tiles and I was impressed so I let him live. I picked him up and said "Wow, you are persistant", and the game named him Persis....

I'm pretty late to this topic. Anyways, for boys I usually pick the names "John", "Chris", "Nick", and sometimes "George", though this occurs rarely. For girls I usually pick the first name off of the top of my head, usually something like "Belle" or "Ann". When I actually feel like sticking around a kid however, I choose names that are a bit more regal and creative like "Fallon", "Autumn", "Lu", "Loui", and "Azure". When going for a theme I tend to pick the names of minirals.

When I play as Eve, I always use the surname “River”. I tend to cycle through the same first names in hopes that someone will recognize me from other lives. For girls, I usually name them Autumn, Summer, Olive, June, Moon, Luna, or Lily. For boys, I always name my first born Bear. Sometimes I’ll name them Wolf, Fox, Felix, Oliver, or Noah.

I usually sit and think for a min. I have many friends who play this game and they will know it's my eve family by last name. And I name all my kids with an H- so they can guesstimate if im still alive.

But therefore we got my stock-pile: Harry, Hale, Hallie, Henry, Harvey, Harold, Hannah, Helen, Hazel, Hayley, Howard, Harold, Harmony!!
