Update idea:
Arrow Quiver can now be attached to your backpack using a needle and thread
If a quiver is attached to your backpack it can only have 4 arrows instead of 5
If a quiver is attached to your backpack you cant have arrows in your backpack
Arrow quiver can be removed from your backpack using another needle and thread
If a arrow quiver is removed from a backpack it has a 10% chance to break into four pieces of cut rabbit fur
Only the arrow quiver has the chance to break not the backpack itself
New Bow
The long bow
Two rope and one long shaft (Too obtain Two rope in a pile you need to make a lasso and use flint on it to break it apart)
Long Bow has increased firing range
New Arrows
Flaming arrow
Arrow dipped into palm oil then clicked against any source of fire
Flamming arrow will stay flamming for one minute
If not shot arrow will break into fletchling and tied skewer
If shot animal shot upon will catch on fire when killed skinning it will make half of the meat cooked already
Sharpend arrow
Sharp stone clicked upon arrow
Arrow is 50% sharper then normal arrow
If animal needs three arrows with normal arrows it will only need two
Once arrow is shot it will become a dull arrow and will only become 25% as powerful as a normal arrow
Can be fixed with two flint into normal arrow again

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

attaching things to backpacks is neat, i'd love that
every tool would benefit from that, even an adze would
bring an adze, and an axe on a backpack and in a cart with a lot of baskets and make greenpeace cry
make just a whole lot of wooden shoes
a pickaxe for correcting griefed roads
a shovel for a stoneworker, so one doesn't need to waste the precious cart space that's supposed to be full of rocks
etc
Sorry, nothing

I'd rather use Babies as artillery in the eventual guns update.

Jason doesn't check the Reddit, hell he hardly checks here. The best bet to get his attention is emails or posting on the github

cool but do you have feedback on my idea?

I don't think this idea fits the game very well.
I am a fan of attaching tools to BP, however I don't like the idea of attaching a mini arrow BP to a BP. Feels just like a weird inventory boost. And would lead to more miss clicks imo.
Increased firing range is also weird since you can already shoot everything you see (in vanilla at least).
Firing arrow is quite complicated for an mediocre effect. Why not just bring the meat home and cook it normally instead of bringing palm oil and fire to a hunt?
Furthermore, flaming arrows were traditionally used for combat, and that would feel more appropriate (except it is not really part of the game right now)
Sharpened arrow is again wildly complicated for a mediocre effect. It is more practical to just bring three arrows for bear hunting. Other animals already only need one shot
I think a weapon update would only work if the game mechanics allow for actual pvp combats (aka wars) of some kind. Right now I am not even sure how the killing system works exactly.
Required posse size = nearby enemies - nearby allies or something?
