Counting only in-game time, how many lives did it take you to complete exactly one hour of playtime?
I think using one's hash can help figure this out, if you have played too many lives to figure this out via the family trees.
One Hour in Two Lives?
One Hour in Three Lives?
The game is called One Hour One Life. What exactly should that phrase mean?

One hour one life.
If you didn't: make it to 60 desperately trying to accomplish something before you die, having a tearful goodbye with someone, or stand around in the last minutes munching berries reflecting and messing with the new childrens
Did you even live your life to the fullest?

I'm flying high. But the worst is never first, and there's a person that'll set you straight. Cancelling the force within my brain. For flying high. The simulator has been disengaged.

Not counting the tutorial, four lives.
Life 1 - starved to death at three and a half when mom stopped feeding me.
Life 2 - born in the middle of a domestic dispute to a bloody knife-holding mother who was promptly gutted by my aunt. She let me starve.
Life 3 - Abandoned by a naked woman (Eve?) running through a jungle
Life 4 - Spawned back into the same town as my first life. Successfully recognized when I needed to start feeding myself. Wandered around, feeling lost but determine to not starve again. Almost starved again, but found the berry patch in time. Met a nice uncle who taught me to care for life-giving berries. Spent the rest of my hour tending a large berry patch. Died at 60.

Well, I just had one of those awesome OHOL experiences and while it wasn't my first life, it was the first life of my mother, and I tried to make it exceptional. I very much enjoyed this life. I saw my mother was new, early on. It's kinda easy to spot new players. I learned it was actually their first life after the tutorial. (as a side note there was no "new player" notification, idk if it works from child to parent) I spent my whole life trying to explain the basics, yum, farming, culture, but we never got to cooking. My Ma was awesome. She learned a bunch, I probably overwhelmed her, with the tiny bit I showed her. Her final words... "This has been a very wonderful life.. Thank you for everything.".... I would say that's One Hour One Life. ILY Ma.
I am a dirty, dirty roleplayer. I roleplay in the game, sometimes on the forum and if I'm being honest, a bit in real life. I can't help myself. I'm a dirty, dirty roleplayer. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Lets be real, living past 40 is selfish unless you are doing serious work. Otherwise you are just wasting food for the next generation.

Even considering gene score? Also, so what if it is? New players pretty much need to live past 40 if they are going to be productive later on when they play.

Do they though? Wouldn't it be more productive for them to start another life so they are an active spawn for players? What are they learning past 40 that they can't learn in the next life?

What it's like when they can't feed a child. What it's like when they food bar starts to decline. A little bit about how their village changes over time. What they might complete in a single life. More about the food types that they can eat, and perhaps a better understanding of the yum and/or craving systems.

Yea fair point. Especially with the recent pop flux i doubt most new players even had time to eat with all the babies piling on.
