Try alternating between playing Stardew Valley and Rust, with a little Spacestation13 thrown in for added depth.   

I find that gets pretty close.

I remember requesting the addition of rats to the game a very long time ago.  Not really a race without the rats.

Dishonored has rats too.  Rats you can control to devour your enemies.   It is kind of like a race where the rats always win.

It is $10 on Steam.

If you are bored with playing OHOL, perhaps it is time to play something else for a while.   It is okay to take a break when you get burnt out.

Come back when you have the urge to plant a really beautiful carrot patch or construct a diesel engine from scratch.

Still looking for a replacement.
