Re: Spoonwood - review

Spoonwood also wanna flee when griefer is attacking town. Sure, if situation is bad AF it's better to flee because people will probably starve after attack anyway, but mostly it's better to fight back cause it's more interesting that way. Another feminine behaviour - flee, don't fight back. Everything I wrote is correct.

It's not more interesting to fight them to me for sure.  Combat in this game is extremely boring.  As Pein has said multiple times, Agar.io has more complex battle.  And on top of that, doing almost any other activity is more interesting than fighting back... even getting water from ponds.  Additionally, and more importantly, one does not fight destructive players by engaging with them and keeping them interested.  Fighting back keeps them interested.

Not too long ago someone on a low pop server said that she got killed and her killer said 'you are boring to kill'.  That's the thought all destructive players should have.  Long term boring destructive players has potential to work.  Bore them to tears.  Then they just don't play at all, or start to rethink if it's all that interesting.

They will come back anyway because they get used to it, like rest of people complaining about OHOL but still playing.

Re: Spoonwood - review

Maybe in a few years the griefers will turn 10 a realize griefing was kinda lame.

And gogo, you blatantly give griefers the attention they want and put them on a pedestal. If you were smart you would just ignore them. Gather up the important resources before they do and hide them somewhere you can get them later and let them run their course. Imagine how many towns, families, and people you've seen die on this game. Whats the point in fighting for them when we know they will all be replaced eventually.

As i see it a town is made up of hours. Hours people worked on different things. Griefers try to burn those hours or wall those hours up so no one can use the previous generations hard work. Basically all you can do is try to preserve that work and make it more annoying for a griefer to get the gratification they want.

Re: Spoonwood - review

Sounds like you play for many of the same reasons most griefers do. Im not suggesting saving a town, family, or people. Im talking about saving peoples' work. Work that took hundreds of hours collectively to achieve. If you dont care about preserving that legacy im not sure why you even play this game, you might as well just grief. At least they have a purpose. Sitting around fighting people and not giving a shit about whether a family, town, or resources are destroyed is more worthless than anything.

They don't care themselves, they make 100 engines and also ally gates, griefers can just enter and take truck full of stuff. xD Everybody's got their short therm joy, creators for sake of making something, griefers for destroying something.

I haven't seen many *follower* gates lately.  And they are called follower gates these days.
