Hunger results in less "one hour one life experiences"

Being hungry and needing food for survival is a system that results in less one hour one life experiences, dying because you dont eat food means you dont live to 60 which means you dont experience one hour one life exprerience which means you dont reach old age which means it causes a decrease in the ammount of one life one hour one experience in the hour experienced of life.

It's fine if you want to pretend to be a cook and make some eggs or pies then pretend to eat them but you shouldn't need to eat to survive because it decrease the survival rate of being able to one life the experience of one hour.

Did i already told you that it causes less One Hour One Life Experiencisucisuzzz?

Also other players are a major cause of the less of the one life hour one the less experience, remove other players.

Re: Hunger results in less "one hour one life experiences"

Yes, hunger results in fewer one hour one life experiences and less survival for players.  The pip drain rate for new players got decreased twice.

Edit: Consequently, if it weren't clear enough, lack of one hour one life experiences because of hunger can be a serious problem.  If one believes that lack of one hour one life experiences for players can never been a problem, then one doesn't want a game in any sense at about survival, because the only way to define what survival means that we could agree one would be playing continuously for one hour in one life.

But also, hungry work exists.  Hunger could just not exist based on satisfying some condition, but exist if not satisfying that condition, like having a given number of black bars makes for hunger to exist.  So, hungry work could result in having a pip drain rate, and hungry work is necessary to climb the tech tree.  Or maybe using tongs or even branches could be hungry work.  Or if fully clothed or having indoor based temperature with clothes maybe hunger could just not exist, unless the black bar food pip level is below a certain value.  So, eating, clothing, and cooking food could still get motivated with much less hunger in the game, and hunger just not existing at all under certain conditions or some certain condition.

Additionally, hunger isn't needed to motivate clothing or buildings.  People wore clothing back when towns were settled along desert edges, and enough players *will* wear clothing for fashion, as things like crown, and old boots show time and time again.  The same goes for buildings, as people have talked about building buildings for reasons other than their utility with respect to their survival or other players survival.

Furthermore, imagine if there was less default hunger, but doing something even simple as moving a branch would subtract just one pip.  Imagine if hungry work varied a bunch for doing all sorts of things.  And a pip drain drain could be by default inactive, but activated by some hungry work.  Yes, it's conceivable that hunger by default wouldn't come as needed at all.

For some other players getting removed, yes such could result in more one hour one life experiences overall.  The game would be better and more of a multiplayer survival game with some players just removed from it entirely, such as those who make a habit of just quitting on lives instead of trying to survive or play the character, or other known cases of players behaving in ways against multiplayer survival.

But, removing *all* other players could result in a single player game on some servers, and then all players would end up as Eves under such, and Eves can only have 46 minute one life experiences.  That wouldn't be a parenting game or a multiplayer game also.

Clearly, Eves and hunger should be removed from OHOL.

So your interpretation of the game is one of players dying early in general?  One hour one life experiences shouldn't be the goal for players?

Spoon, I seriously do not understand your obsession with living exactly 60 minutes every life.   That does not match up with my understanding of this game at all.

You can live for UP TO sixty minutes.   Death by old age is an achievement, not a guarantee.

It sure does seem like you've implied that playing to survive in this game makes for an "obsession".  If you're not trying to have a one hour one life experience in general (sure... real life might come up... if a friend called you and wanted to chat on the phone and you stopped playing for some reason, not trying to survive for one hour makes sense), what does one think that they will get out of the game?  Wouldn't one think that a survival game would be about players trying to survive when they play?  How could playing for such survival ever constitute an "obsession" in the context of the game?

If it's an achievement, how could it be an "obsession" to live exactly 60 minutes as much as possible?

If one removes the game then one can't experience one hour one life experience.

Unless one plays another game for one hour... Wait, what?

Just remove death from the game. And the quit button. Catch quit signals and rootkit the computer to make sure escape is impossible. One Hour is not only guaranteed, but REQUIRED.

I have the same obsession. It mostly comes down to OCD.

So we're clear, character death is required for one hour one life experiences.

There is no button by which one can kill off one's character instantaneously.  Since quitting the client doesn't result in death, it's not inconceivable that if human players were afk for some period of time, their characters could get controlled by a program.  It already happens that the characters speak in plenty of instances without human players controlling them.  No idea how really any species could talk about a baby getting born some 2k away from oneself, or further, but that exists.  Or at least I haven't managed to differentiate those messages from chat generated messages in game.

The end of the character's life would have to happen in an hour in such a game for the comparison to hold.  I think it'd be a rare thing to find such happening in other games, because of the timing issue.
