"Are there any none mega families?
I hate being born into them. I played back in 2017 and had the time of my life actually building and creating families but now it’s just kinda boring"
https://www.reddit.com/r/onehouronelife … _families/
Gene score suggests non-mega families as possibly preferable, since it's easier to care for fewer players, and the penalizations of early deaths is more harsh than gene score gain, at least for some players with high gene score.
Any thoughts on non-mega families vs. the current system which tends to mega-families?

How the heck are we supposed to remedy that? Some tribal counsel who gets kicked from the main village to fend from themselves? I can definitely see how this would benefit the family though
I’m Gama I flaunt my ideas, and I’m fabulous

Why would you post such a shitty Reddit post here?
The point of the post was a question, and again, it seems that a fair number of people there had interest in it.
I don't see why you think the question bad, other than it doesn't suit your personal taste.

No, I'm not getting a single dime from anyone on reddit.
Calling this some sort of shitpost is just an empty form of invective. You don't like the thought of non mega families, fine. Again, it has a rating in the 20s, signaling some level of interest among players following the reddit. It might have more interest.
Instead of thoughts it seems that some people would rather act manipulative and use emotional language than try to discuss things at all.
The original post asked for thoughts. Something by which maybe we could understand each other's perspectives.

the bigger the family, the more people tend to roleplay. less work gets done because everyone has the same idea that someone else will do it, and suddenly the farms empty and there no food in the kitchen.
I say eyyyyyyy constantly <3
