I'm officially the proud owner of the one and only official One Hour One Life Non-fungible token (NFT). As such, when you see me in the game please direct all crowns to my head. That is all.

Looks like Jason already bought some for himself. Gotta get in on the ground floor.
Update - Oh never mind, I misunderstood the transaction history, Jason is the seller.
Wow. Just wow. What is this nonsense?

Cant believe someone fell for that...
At least you didnt buy one of his "exquisite" "paintings" like this one

For the very low price of a little bit less than 10'000 dollars you could be the proud owner of a bunch of blue pixels from a game nobody heard of, but i guess it's "art" so it's justified.

It's 5 ethereums, the current price of one ethereum is 1’740.58 United States Dollar, i let you do the math.

Technically, no math is required, because the price in dollars is shown right next to the price in pseudo-money.
You just have to click on the link and move your eyes slightly to the right to see how much that "raindrop picture" will cost you in real money. It hurts my brain to think that someone might buy that at literally any price.

I like the meme potential but that's too much for me. It's a Dutch auction so the price steadily drops until someone bids. My lil OHOL coin going to the moon!
I think Jason should sell in game items (skins) as NFT's. You know people would buy it and it could breathe new life into the game. NFT's would be way cooler than buying regular items and the owners could resell.

I cant help but wonder if this is some weird conceptual thing Rohrer is doing. Maybe he will intrdocue currency into the game that is also a real life crypto. Very curious to see where this is going.

NFT's are hot right now. Lot's of chatter about it. If OHOL were to become a "crypto game" that would make headlines.

There's a few examples of high art being sold as NFT's but most of them are memes, like CryptoPunks and Kitties.

Jason catching some heat for this https://kotaku.com/game-artists-not-hap … 1846465316
“Is it worth it to spend ‘an Iceland-worth of electricity’ to have an unforgeable monetary system that no one controls? Is it worth it to have verifiable provenance of unique items?” he said. “I don’t think we need to decide this collectively. I’m not personally into baseball cards, but some people live for them. But I love the thorny philosophical debate, and want to make projects that operate in the thick of it.”
