Either eves are born there, or ran on the paved road (meaning they all happened to have a car/truck!)
I haven't been born eve so I don't know

I joined the road to the main road and some idiot drove a car probably, all the way to the end.
Doing that shifts the eve spawn.

That must've happened several times. Why did it shift eve spawn this time?
Though winter highway is really long, starting from -34000.

If they’re spawning 20k out it sounds like the game is recognizing the need for an Eve but spawning donkey Eves. This is something that can occur when the player count is low and people are blocked to areas but don’t have a high enough meme score to be deemed for a regular eve spawn.
Games been fubar like this ever since the last eve change which didn’t fix this same issue

Eve spawn's been messed up like that?
Well to be clear, player count was around 20~30 as always and I'm sure there were several ppl with high gene score.
Only x axis is shifted. So donkey town is still +-20k up and down.
I wonder when it'd be normal again..
To be honest it's rather good foraging and living in ghost town only if we can supply kerosene.

With the latest change, Jason tied Eve spawning to homeland mechanics. But, the homeland mechanics differ when biome bands nerf fertility and when they don't. Homeland mechanics with less than 15, and probably 30, people on a server depend on well placement, not on biome bands. So, that may have changed things, and made it so that someone could screw up the Eve placement again. If so, then they messed up the placement when the server had less than 30 (or 15) people on it.

Ya, remember last week when you asked me if I still hated your long roads? Then, I responded that I did not care about you paving long roads, I only did not like roads that go all the way back into the beginning of time. (60 thousand tiles into the past to where the first eve spawned right after the big bang of the last server reset is super really not necessary.)
Well guess what. You did exactly what I told you not to do. And now you broke the game. Now eves spawn 20 thousand tiles east again.
How about we just focus on paving roads to link up current towns, and less focus on getting one super highway all connected to way back into the beginning of time.
You know jason does not care about this game anymore, and refuses to fix anything due to the game being so magical to new players.
Now we stuck with broken game, while jason fixes his broken kitchen floor that needs reinforcement because he has real life problems like installing a $10,000 kitchen stove that is too heavy for his kitchen floor in his new house, and now he has to remodel the floor so he can support the weight of a decent kitchen stove like the rest of us normal people use. You dont want jason living like a caveman cooking on a 200 dollar kenmore stove like a homeless person, do you? Well DO YOU? No, no, no, jason, take your time. Get that stove taken care of so your fam can get a good yum chain bonus going. We got plenty of magic down here in no patch land to get us by. Yum, that magic feels so good in our tummies.
Just be happy with the magic you got now, do not be greedy and wish for even more magic.
Too much magic, would be magic overload, and you could never stop playing this game.
It is better to experience the magic for one hour, one life, then just stop playing the game when the magic is gone.
jason said it himself, the game is designed around new players to get that magic feeling.
jason logs onto his game once a year to see if that magic is still there.

The road was already there I just merged it
The solution is just to leave 1000k gaps periodically probably every 5k or so
The reason I did it was so I could build and move my 40 nozzle sprinkler around
Also there's quite a few untapped tarries all this way east -- it hasn't been that bad

last time I looked no one died east before the eve's spawned east. I am not going to bother looking again but you can check yourself. the first eve east is this one

I did look at the most recent jump a bit. There were no map changes significantly east before the first east eve.
