Goodbye Castle Doctrine.
Good thing Jason didn't make NFT's in OHOL because all games containing NFT's will be booted off steam.

Jason made and sold this NFT about One Hour One Life

I think you mean that *Valve* bans all games with NFTs on Steam there Laggy. Valve is the corporation that owns and runs Steam. Here's an article about Valve doing such: https://www.theverge.com/2021/10/15/227 … ge-of-rust
The rules explicitly state that:
What you shouldn’t publish on Steam:
...
13. Applications built on blockchain technology that issue or allow exchange of cryptocurrencies or NFTs.

Also, anything that violates the rules now, but got posted on Steam before that rule existed, may have to get reported to Valve. I wouldn't be confident at all that they searched every game on their platform as to whether or not it broke rule 13., especially since it's newish.

I think this applies to games that use NFTs as a core part of their mechanics. Games with NFT trading and marketplaces built-in.
Obviously not games, Like OHOL and TCD, that have a few NFTs that have been made about them.

I agree that there exists a disctinction between an *in-game* NFT, and an external to the game NFT *about* a game, similar to the object-logic/metalogic distinction of mathematical logic.
Valve's wording seems consistent with the above interpretation. But, I am not so clear about what Valve's intent is with this change. Contacting them to clarify their policy would be the way to figure this out.
