Game causes router to reset, server hosted on Windows 10 also crashes

I've been trying to find a solution to this, but I haven't found any.

1. I played using the Windows installation executable (non-Steam), and this still occurs.
2. I played using the Steam executable, and it occurs via Steam, too (which makes sense, the files are pretty much identical from what I see).
3. When I host a custom server (Windows 10), it will crash, and it won't allow me to start the server again unless I delete the server files (which ultimately deletes any progress).
4. It doesn't matter if I play on the main server, a different server (like server1, server2, etc.).

Other minor details:
5. I've played on different computers, and hosted the server on different computers as well (all Windows 10), and still the same result.
6. All computers have plenty of disk space.
7. All computers have a 13600K or faster processor and at least 32GB memory.
8. Ok, playing over WiFi, haven't experienced the router reset, yet, but a Windows server still crashes, so trying out the custom servers via WiFi and see if the router resets or not.
8a. So far, no issues playing over WiFi, just via ethernet. I find that pretty interesting, but annoying.

Just wondering if anyone's found a solution after all these years? I'm a new player (bought it 3 days ago), and my daughter likes to play this game, but with the game causing the router to reset, and our own custom server always crashing, we can't effectively enjoy playing the game.
