How to place a home marker

Trivial but many of you do it bad

Why to place?

When to place?
If you got a marker as a woman, all your kids gonna see the marker, no need for them to place another, make sure you got a marker before pick any of them up to feed, this means the eve need to find perfect location to keep a kid, first 4-5 babies only block you to make the tools or find a location

Where to place?
People tend to place it whatever
if you put on an empty tile, nothing can be placed there, so dont put in front of forge, oven or anywhere where people need to put stuff  down, i will cut all those down, you should do the same
You can put behind a tree, then wont show up, nobody is disturbed by it, also others cant put stuff there, hard to cut out, should be a tree with leafs

If you cant manage to make marker before your first kid, give a skever and a stone, decide where to put

Also is strongly advisable to put all the same place, make a food deposit there, as people often gonna run back starving. A single fence for horses wont hurt either, if you cant place it in time, your baby born and wanna pick up, just put near some berry bushes

Why give advice without the key piece of information?

Breaking a home marker doesn't remove anyone else's waypoints. Just take turns placing the same home marker.
