Re: how to take Screenshot

It is "print screen" key. If you don't have that I don't know how to help, I know some keyboards are different.

Re: how to take Screenshot

For me its "=" sign. It's the "official" way of taking screens. It saves screens in game directory -> screens as *.tga so you need to convert it to png, jpg or whatsoever using gimp or photoshop or any other more advanced graphical program.

PrtScr will NOT work if you play in fullscreen mode. It will work though if you play in windowed mode.

Re: how to take Screenshot

Print screen worked for me, it put it onto my "clipboard" and I pasted it into paint just fine.
We probably are not talking about the same thing I am guessing.

Re: how to take Screenshot

i use snagit so i dont care big_smile
at least i can cut parts out, has some advanced functionalities even photoshop is missing
except you cant really mess much with layers and cant select parts by color
but you can make icons out of items and use as stamps

dont get me wrong, photoshop has capabilities like nothing else, also plugins that are awesome but its never been a fast tool to do quick edits. as i said "some" functions. like cutting out between two lines, thats kinda more complex in photoshop, its just the interface of snagit editor is nicer

Could you please give me an example of what you speak here? Because from what I picture, what you told me is "long & complex" is.... like 2 or 3 hotkeys used one after another? Like... modify selection, transform, crop or something?

Also, if you're not ussing hotkeys for everything in photoshop then yeah - its LOOKS longer, but you just don't know your tool well enough. I'm not a big fan of GUI though. Keyboard shortcuts for everything ftw. Or just automated stript if you have batch of files to edit the same way.

Re: how to take Screenshot

Crop between something or trim every empty space on picture, in Photoshop you need to select manually. In a screenshot tool selecting a part send to editor, make a stamp from it, use multiple times on picture for a blueprint. Also loads 30 MB ram not 400.
