To add depth to game play and create deeper purpose for nomands other than just running around, there should be a way to domesticate wolves so they can pull things for you, as horses require too many tools dependent on having a well built and advanced stationary civilization. For example if you feed wolf skinned rabbit they become docile, then if you feed them another within some given time frame they become loyal and then they will follow you around provided you feed them rabbit once every x years. they can also act as a guard against snakes (not 100% of course sometimes they die too) Also could be used to heard and kill sheep to encourage nomads to keep herds of animals for meatt/ wool. Keeping of sheep would encourage constantt motion gameplay to find new berry bushes and wild carrots. (alternative to clay bowl needed for harvest though, maybe skull bowl from bear or seal). Currently krrping sheep requires a forge and this would be an interesting way to deepen meaning of wild animals for nomads. also by eating rabbit the wolves produce rabbit bones which gives another incentive for domestication as well as an alternative to making fire to get needle. Also addition of sledge type thing made of some amount of straight branches tied together with two ropes, takes two domesticated wolves to pull and say 4 people, to also encourage formation of family bands during nomadic gameplay. Just some ideas that came to me yesterday after being killed bu a hidden wolf for the thousandth time. excuse the horrible formatting.

I had the same face hehehe.
If you want to be a good nomad, make yourself a backpack, fill it with two snares, one neddle and a sharp stone.
Everytime you don't hold baby girl, you have to make a basket to stock food.
