Update: Families and Funerals

Four new characters, for a total of six in each skin tone now. The family code has been fixed so that your kids and grand kids are more likely to look like you.

Graves have had mouse-over names for a while now, but this update pushes further with labeled grave stones that last forever. And of course, you can't have grave stones without roses. But it turns out that roses are a bit of a pain to grow from seed. Welcome to the world of seed stratification, folks.

If you see a white rose in-game, you're looking at something pretty special. Blue roses are coming in the next update.

In family tree browser, I think that the new characters are the ones with no portraits

Looks like the images of the new characters aren't showing up on the family trees.

The rose is beautiful and I like to have a quest for snow pile in order to plant a flower garden.
(This is my Happy impression.)

But I discovered the hard way that milkweed is now vanishing after harvest, no matter the growing stage you pick it, and this is quite frustrating. If only you could water it and babysit like berry bushes ! No, it's gone, go find more soil and replant. The worst is that it's a sneaky little change at the bottom of the list...
(That is my Grumpy impression.)

Nevertheless, I still love your game Jason.

PS The new characters are exquisitely ugly

Ummm, guys, I think I see an image in the end of the gif of Families And Funerals. Look closely, and you'll see what I mean.

List of Characters:
Jim - The weird hair parting dude who is also a baby face (FINALLY!)
Uncle Jonathan - dat poofy brown haired poofy beard dude with the forward facing eyes
Roba - Same thing but a woman WITH MASSIVE HAIR!!!!
Limathi - Is this woman wearing a rope or just a hairstyle, the hair really does look like a more concentrated rope.

no jk but they are pretty weird and dont really fit the other skins i liked the older ones more these are a little weird. no hate tho we atleast got some new skins too identify people faster.

Well, there are going to be 100+ unique characters in the game. There's going to be a lot of variety. Not all of them are going to be cute looking!

Out of the 4 characters that I added, I'd say that 2 are cute, in my opinion. The other two look weird, and one even looks a little psychotic.

But I really gotta go with what comes out of my pen here. I can't second-guess it. I decided to try someone with round eyes, and whoa nelly, she looks like she's about to crack! But her hair is really amazing. You can't have it all.

Still, she's just one of 100.

And yes, red heads are coming. I have two more "pale" skin tones to populate, along with two more darker skin tones. One of the more pale skin tones is ruddy, so I think the red heads will be in there, or maybe in the palest tone.

personally, i love the new characters. the one with the poofy hair is amazing! she creeps me out in a good way.
