Instead of being ban everytime you die from a family. We could give bonus to people that help the others with some basic rules which I will tell you about.
You get the title of good mother If you achieve some specific task, you avoid the ban in this family and you can directly spawn (so people don't suicide until they come back) or maybe reduce the ban to one hour instead of three.
These achievement are simple... but hard :
- Make all your kids survive until 10 or 12 y/o
- Live until 55 y/o or more
- Never kill anybody (except somebody that killed one before maybe ?)
I am not really sure if we have to be strict about these rules or let the maybe. But I think it could be great to promote these simple but important tasks. Not so easy job to be moms. After all, she maybe spend all her time trying to raise children, we could let her a second life so she can do something else.

I think its a great idea to give some incintive for people to play in a productive manner, so they can possibly come back to the same town.
I think a marked grave with a rose should allow you one more go round.
It shows someone cared enough to put in some effort to honor you after you died
Be kind, generous, and work together my potatoes.

I wouldn't mind this. I think being able to play more in cool villages you are a part of is a good way for game to go.

Having players too dependent on the behavior of others is the problem already. For whatever personal reason babies suicide. If we trap them into playing a game they don't want to they'll grow up into trouble makers. Griefer generator is not a "good mom".
Also, what about men?
The simple fair solution is to award people who make it to 55 exemption to the lineage ban.

Incentives to play in a productive manner... hm...
I love this train of thought. How to brainstorm more incentives... I think you're onto something here!
I personally feel that keeping all your kids is a good and productive thing, as long as I am not going to starve everyone by the influx. I am giving more players a chance to be in my area. I like the social aspect of playing with other people. I never leave my little boys to die if I can help it. Who knows, I might spawn in a sheep master like pein? I have no idea. Why not raise my chances of being able to play with a veteran? Why not raise my chances of being able to teach someone new and get some joy out of their "Ah-Hah" moment?
Keeping all your kids is a complex thing. It depends on so many factors. Personal philosophy... resources at hand... whether your kid who spawns is experienced at bootstrapping if necessary... or something super basic such as knowing how to click on themselves to eat on their own...
Having all your kids live past 10 sounds great in theory, but what if you have an aunt/sister/other village lady chasing you around telling you to stop keeping all your kids? The "Not enough food" problem. Even if there is actually enough food. Even when you say you're moving far away to start another camp, and she proceeds to chase you across biomes exclaiming "Let them die". What if you have a child abductor that you are powerless to stop? People are very passionate about playing a certain way. Disagreements in game are bound to happen.
Marking a grave with a rose seems like a good way for villages to vote productive players back in. That sounds fantastic. It gives a sense of agency to the survivors, and promotes bonds between players. That's a solid incentive to contribute to the village.
How would exempting people who made it to 55+ protect against a vulture/carrotsponge/random crazy person who steals a village cart to live in the wilderness?

+1
I really like this idea.

This could be based on the amount of times a mother breastfeeds her child. Suicidal children don’t count. Could be based on crying “F” or something.
Adopted kids can also avoid this since their mother hasn’t fed them.

breastfeeds her child
If this just reset the birth cool down that would be nice.

Just if someone dies of old age, 5ey should be able to respawn in same village. Why?
Murdering a griefer should not be considered a bad thing
A suiciding baby isnt your fault.
