Re: A Storm is a coming!

That was a cool little town.

When I was there, there was a house with 2 locked doors. It had at least 5 non-empty stew/kraut pots. Inside, I saw a mother with a child say, "in case of griefers". That was pretty wild.

What a crazy fun life. I was a nameless boy since I was born before my mother even realized she had birthed me. My grandmother raised me up in our huge town and I ran off as soon as I had hair. By the time I found my mother, I was just too old to be named. There wasn’t much to be done that people weren’t already doing so I decided to mess around with the update. Lots of new things to try and the healing system intrigued me the most.

Paramedic was my calling. My uncle Elroy and his sister (who I can’t remember the name of sry!) were trying to figure out how to save people. Uncle Elroy taught us how to make sterile pads, to stitch up wounds, and all the other good stuff. My aunt and I followed him around and my cousin Jessica enthusiastically volunteered to be our guinea pig. Uncle was skeptical since her survival wasn’t guaranteed, but he eventually relented. He soon got too old to test out our theories and gave his backpack with knife to me. I swore that I would carry on your legacy and I did make good on that promise.

I prepared more pads since the others had gotten dirty (also realized you can simmer them again to make them sterile!). Someone was shot with an arrow and we almost saved them but we had no more pads, so he sadly perished. We also discovered that you need to heat the knife to seal wounds.

Later on, I was told there was a party in the soup room. I foolishly walked inside and a terrible woman named Sheena locked me inside with my cousin Persis. She laughed at us as we begged her to let us out, but luckily we had plenty of soup to hold us off until someone could find the key. I wasn’t going to kill her for it if she let us out swiftly but she dragged it on for so long that I began to ponder the idea. We could have just forgotten about it but she kept milking it. Even so, as a paramedic, it went against my nature to cause harm, regardless of how she treated us.

She eventually did let us out but by that point, I had turned elderly and didn’t have much time left. Jessica and I ran to finish our experiments. I prepared the fire and kinda stole an arrow from a girl (sry) but there was instantly so much murder around us. People shot each other and stabbed each other. I was able to save two people I believe, Jessica included. I completed my life’s mission. I hope I did you proud, uncle!

Another storm story

https://onehouronelife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=2256

Tony, that was my name. I was born to a single mother who loved me dearly. I think I was her favorite, she made sure to always check on me. I've spent my early years lost for the most part, until the murders started in our town. Thats when I took up my bow and went down to hunt the man known as Bertha, I didn't claim his life but I watched the wolf who did. After that, I became a berry farmer.

I've always had my eye on you. You and I were the best berry farmers in the entire town. No one could outspeed us when we worked together. You put the soil on the berry bushes and I watered. The town had no worries when it came to a food source from our berries. You were always more talkative than me. Being a little busy body. I was much much more quieter. I tended to my own. I didn't know many people, the only person who I talked to besides you was mother and she left me.

To my suprise, you asked me. "Would you marry me?" with a coy little smile. I had never seen you act so nervous. You knew the repercussion our marriage would bring. We were both males and not mention you only being a teenager while I was already balding... but, I couldn't bring myself to say no to you. I chuckled and said yes. We lived happily that way, but when you grew older seeing the other woman foster children while you could never. You wanted a baby, and as always I couldn't say no to your soft brown eyes. So... I kidnapped a child... Bill, you loved him at first sight. We raised him together. I began to grow older, becoming gray and wrinkled. You didn't seem to care... oh how wrong was I to believe that you didn't care.

While I was out getting some water from the nearby pond, I came back to find you with him... TIM. You called him your lover, and to my surprise he had brought you a new little baby boy. My heartbreak instantly turned into murderous rage. I found the bow I used to hunt down the killer Bertha and found some arrows... I marched back to our berry farm.. You begged me not too, but your charms wouldn't work on me now...

I shot you dead... I called you all kind of names as you beg for them to heal you... I thanked the Pieman that the pads were dirty and you died right there. Don't worry, they avenged you. They shot me in my chest and then let me starve to death as I bleed out.

Burn in hell you little slut...

Re: A Storm is a coming!

I was a Storm too- what a great town, the baking station was A+!

As a girl I was lucky enough to stumble upon the old chiefs clothes as he died- from that day on I was Lucky the Baker. I dedicated my life to baking pies (and cooking various other foods) for the town, with my son Vegeta as my assistant. It was a very good life- my only regret was that I accidentally starved my only non-suiciding daughter.... and also that I never figured out how to make tortillas!

Town was still going strong when I died smile

Re: A Storm is a coming!

I just finished my first life in Stormville. I was Trowa: http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … _id=378174

I convinced a small number of people, including my brother Wayne, my aunt Tye, and her daughter Mary, and her other daughter Donna (who barely knew how to eat) to strike out with me and start a new town in a big grassland north of a big prairie due east. We took a couple of carts, some steel tools, and other supplies and headed out. A few died on the way, but I know Wayne, Mary, and Donna made it.

Immediately we cleared some land and Wayne and Mary started a farm. Donna, bless her, gathered berries, while I started a fire, ventured for squash and beans, kept things organized, supplemented food, and built a forge. Donna starved as I was trying to teach her how to make a snare. Wayne went off to find seeds and apparently starved--I never saw him again.

I died before I could say goodbye to my family. Mary, I hope your daughters lived. The last time I saw you, your milk had dried up.

That was much more rewarding than getting fat on pies and stew in the city.

Hey! I was Alex, you were my little brother in game actually!

I was the one that kept trying to give Donna the apron to wear so she could store some extra food in that much coveted extra inventory slot! I died not long after you guys left, I saw that interaction of you all deciding to leave- it was pretty interesting, I was curious how you guys had fared!

You'll see me often as Eve Mcabee and Eve Laurent. Or at least I'll try to be! These days it's hard spawning in as Eve, I usually end up as a baby in some town instead!

Haha I remember that!

As of right now, it seems that they're still going! Mary had one daughter, Annie, who carried on. http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … _id=378174

I'm going to try to spawn into it to see if I recognize the place.

Oh! That's exciting, I hope they do well! Maybe they'll end up making another proper colony, that'd be nice! Hopefully if either of us spawn in there, it'll be at the same time!

Would be cool to have two towns and some horses to go back and forth between them. Maybe set up some trade.

Aw man! I'm pretty sure I spawned into my old town. I was Mimi and I convinced my sister Mi to go with me back to the big city. We were both killed by a boar on the way, so I couldn't find out for sure! I'll know when my mom dies, I guess: http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … &id=379771

Re: A Storm is a coming!

I was Frimy.  I was put in charge of the safe room (the one with all of the stew and kraut) when i was a little girl.  An old man was cooking the stew and i thought he was hiding it all from the town.   i waited until he opened the door then ran in and stole a raw stew pot.  i took it into town and cooked it.  He sorta followed me up there and i explained that we were all hungry and needed stew.  he told me to follow and led me into the safe room.  He explained that he built the room so that if a griefer came to town,  women and children could hide out and not starve.  Then he passed his apron and key to me and told me i was in charge.

I raised all of my kids there, and made some stews and told my kids the tale of the safe room.  At one point an older lady named Rosie came into the safe room.  She was carrying her pet goose, Eggward.  She said she had been taking care of Eggward her whole life. She died soon after leaving Eggward wondering around the safe room.  I named my next son Eggward (Ege) in her honor.  Eventually i passed my apron and key to my son Elroy, the doctor.  I died attempting to teach a new girl how to farm.  I took her to an old soil pit i found as a kid, however the bush that was near it had been picked clean.
