i was born in you big cities, but didn't want to deal with city drama again, so i soon as i could i took a basket, a little food and split east.

4 or 5 biomes away, far enough to have raw ressources but close enough to be eventually found.

Theres a kiln ready with basic fire tools, a pot of stew ready to be cooked, a bit of omelettes and carrots and stew veggies planted and watered. NW of it there's a pretty amasing cactus farm.

I only got 4 kids, one that suicide right away seeing we weren't big, one newbie son that forgot to eat (at least now he knows how to make fire) one daughter that starved in childhood close to camp even though we had food (she told me she wan't new, i've seen experienced players very often starved in infancy because they overestimate their capacity and want to do too much too quick, never taking the time to wait to grow more)
and my last daughter, unfortuately died of snake attack, i was too old to have any more kids.

So if any of you happen to spawn in that city again, feel free to try to find it and expand it as sattelite city, could be fun. I headed almost always straight east, you should be able to see sign of passage.

ngl I was wondering if that was the family I was born to, since my mom took off east-ish and never looked back, not even sure if she noticed I'd been born tbh.. Was curious if that was you.

Turns out it was part of the same family, but was one of your distant cousins haha. Sorry to say I saw this a bit too late. Lived my life in the city, mostly making pies and helping forge the screen full of iron we had.

Not much rly happened during my life. A bear wandered in and killed a few people before wandering away. An unknown griefer bothered us for a short time, turning the adobe for the forge into bases, making our tongs into unfinished bellows, that sort of stuff.

Wish I'd seen this earlier, I would've headed east and expanded. Then again, all my kids starved even though they were literally surrounded by food.,. so I doubt we would've survived very long.

Hopefully someone else sees this and strikes out for the outpost, would be neat.

Big city was fun mostly. We were kind of crippled by lack of fire.
Also someone went around and cut all the maple trees and flint tipped all the firebows..
I found some maples by the end of my life and brought em back.
Was good life, we had a few competent medics and good shepherds.

my only problem is i didn't explore the city enough, so i'm not sure i can recognise it if i'm born there again and head to my outpost.

Tana, you saved me, my sister, our mum and our kids with the place east!
My mum Carol lost the way back home. She and my sister wanted to make a new camp instead of searching. So they just started with a new place and i got born. Just several tiles over us we found your outpost.

We went there and born some kids. I was looking for the big city all my live. Most of my kids didnt wanted to search with me. I searched so much. Found a cart here, a backpack there, and slowely I got nearer and nearer. Long time I walked in the wrong direction.

I had a daughter her name was harlem, in a desert she got bitten by a snake and died. I was walking just a few years more and found the city. And the best was. There was a girl in this big town saying:"Its me Harlem".

I headed back to your small settlement after I visited the town and told everyone of the town. The settlement was not in a good shape. I wanted to take a women back to the town and we met on the way a guy from the town. He was young and we showed him the settlement and told him to build a road and tell all of it!

So lets see what happens next!

Oh that's so great ! that's the little things that make the game so nice ^^

Now i think it should be cannon for all experienced players in this forum to go away and start new settlements when they are born female into big cities. I often see people complaining about the map being too big, so cities rarely connects, but yet almost nobody is willing to go away and build a new place when in an already settled place, IMO that's the only way we can achieve interconnected cities.

I was just born to the Forget family again- directly from my own lineage! I was my own great-great-great-great-great nameless grandmother.

I'm ecstatic, never had that happen before!

I was known as Rocky, and spent most of my life trying to keep the berry farm running, and making some pies.

Someone cut almost all our wheat without picking seeds, our hoe broke, our fire went out, two bears broke in and I nearly starved distracting them while the arrows were made to kill them, someone started murdering people..

It was crazy lol.

tbh there were so few people when I was around, between the bear and the killer, I decided to stick around. Fed the sheep and got another round of compost going before I realized we were nearly out of wheat, and had no hoe to plant more.

In the last half of my life, a nephew was running around with a bow and arrow, looking to kill his mom. Not sure what for, but he didn't threaten anyone else, so figured it wasn't for no reason.

Another nephew [maybe the same, can't remember, he was nameless] asked for someone to shoot him with the bow and arrow. Since I was almost 60 anyways, I stripped naked and obliged.

A medic kept trying to save him but he dodged their attempts, and we both perished.

Not sure if there were any females around by the end of it. Hopefully the Forget family continues, and the eastern outpost gets built on a bit more. Sorry I missed it a second time.

Awesome! I was Eve Forget, great to see the town lasted for a few generations.
I had my first kid and forgot to name myself beforehand, ergo the name Forget.
I'll always remember you Hank, looks like you did well to stay alive Ily

I was just a Forget! The city was dying (Rocky was right, I managed to get the last wheat fields planted but there was so little water, it was hard to compost anything. And the berry fields were too darn big, it became hard to maintain with so few of us there after the griefer took so many out.)

Now I want to get born there again just to see if I can venture east-er egging.
