The griefed town

I was an eve and spawned into an griefed town.

All maple trees were cut in a really big radius, all firebows converted, all sheep killed, and so on.

The trees will be a hugh problem now rebuilding the city. Lets see what happens tongue

Re: The griefed town

I was in a town like that but it was "forget" town. There was maples to the north and to the west still.

Tree planting needs to be a thing, more so than omelettes and tacos.. smile

Re: The griefed town

Griefer can destroy all forge and oven. No clay to fix.
They can cut all tree. No way to plant.
After kill people, they can escape because if they move (slow), we will not kill them.

Need new update. Clay can regen. People can plant tree. And freeze murder in 150s. No starved but freeze.

Ownership is the solution for everything.

Totally agree about the trees.
How do you destroy forge though? I've been saying for ages we need a sledgehammer or something to break them down.

Are you sure?  Jason told that he fixed it long time ago.  If you still can't hit murderer when he runs please reopen this bug:

No, but I haven't been playing much recently, so I haven't even tried.  FounderOne reported having no problem with that.  Are you sure you're using right mouse button to kill, right?  If so, please send replay to Jason to help him track down where the problem is.

Re: The griefed town

Forestry update is my #1 most desired feature right now.  It just opens up so much more to do, since wood is hard to transport people will need carts.  More axes needed.  Move pies to where the loggers are.  Higher clay demand to make pie plates.  If trees require soil to replant, more need for compost.  Road building would expand due to increased log production, assuming the city balance it with other needs.

I feel like this could make the end game a lot more lively.

I agree. I think griefing is just part of the game, but for every bad deed there needs to be a good one to reverse it.

If someone cut down all the trees I wouldn't mind spending a lifetime to reforest.

If someone flint tipped bows I would spend a lifetime to restore them if needed.

I think for every bad, destructive deed there needs to be a good deed to undo the bad.
