Spawned in the Tutorial Area

Well.
That was quite a different expirience,
At first I thought i pressed the "Tutorial" button, but no - my first baby popped out.
Had a few more kids, everyone was baffled what was going on.
I would have stayed, but we had no soil/water/iron inside so we decided to starve.

Jason is it possible to ban this area from Eve spawns, or maybe give us tools to escape.
What if someone builds a town around that area? Could we watch new players while they do their first steps?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Very strange.

Tutorial area is supposed to only spawn very far away....

Wonder what's happening here.

The tutorial areas are created at x=50,000, which is pretty far away from 0,0 but clearly not so far away that the real spawning location can't eventually reach it.

Maybe up that offset to somewhere closer to the technical limit of the int data type? 2,000,000,000 ought to suffice.

Any chance you stuck around in the tutorial until you died of old age?

If you did, your next-spawn-as-eve location would be set to that spot.

I dont think so, but I did not really pay much attention since i was that suprised.

No, when I did the tutorial, I ran right to the end made the axe and died. So that cant be the reason.

Yeah, come to think of it, no life logging should be done at the end of the tutorial, which means it shouldn't remember your old age death position as Eve anyway.

I imagine people standing outside the wall and cheering for the new player. Maybe we could even help him make the axe by teaching from the outside.

But yeah, first we need to find the area again and start a town^^
