I'm getting the lag too, it's definitely the game and not my laptop or internet either since both my laptop is high end and my internet is really good.

The last while the server was running smooth (No more humping trees till you die) but lately with the influx of players the servers have gone to $#!% and I'm back to thrusting against a tree. The cactus gods aren't happy

Two or three bumps against each item before I'm able to pick it up or use it. This never happens to me, so yes, this is definitely server side.

I turned the player cap down a bit.

I don't think the server can actually handle 100 simultaneous players on a full map, but during the player influx, that is what was happening.

Which is really terrible. A bunch of new players, and they're all experiencing lag.

Anyway, turned the cap down to 140 from 200, so the load balancing will kick in at 70 instead of at 100.
