I went north, freed a lady, while 2 others came by. We made a little party in there for a while. Ended up dying of old age by cutting all the trees in the region XD

we tried to make a town. I changed a few signs so if you follow them you find the town. One of us stayed there and made a lot of tools. We tried to get sheep and horse

I went south at first, then went up north. Didn't find anyone, but that's probably because I did it minutes after the update went live. I honestly thought there'd be more after the tree, even replied to the news post cause I thought I was missing something. So I'm guessing all those other tutorial set ups are actually being used by people? That's interesting, hmmm...

I went south, helped another eve get free.
Wanted to try the curse but she had no name and steped on rattle snake soon.
Also found a sign that said "ghost-nuts".

So I tried another time to go south. I met 4 people 2 of them joined the journey. We did the mistake and checked almost all tutorial camps up to the snake pit.

Ahha, loved the new updated tutorial. Was smelting iron for steel when a couple friendly neighbours came n cut me free. We made a backpack but it was bugged. Not sure if this was intentional?

We went north for a while, found a snake suicide and a couple live inhabitants. The last one was a new player I think, they seemed pretty confused about a trio of strangers busting in their tutorial.
(wait was duo by that point)

Nice sandbox for newer guys to go back to and practice on stuff as well. GJ

im new to these forums and I cannot figure out how to make a post question.... I am unable to update the game. it says failed... please move game file to a folder that is not "read me only"... I was literally playing last night. now I cannot play. any help is appreciated? or a link to a answer on these forums?

Well it means your folder is set on read only.
Maybe move the folder to your desktop, if it's not working go in the options and look for the read only option and deselect it.

If this all is not working for you delete the folder and go into your emails and download the game again.

South, then North... Most didn't try the bonus area, one had cut down the tree but not dug up the stump. I finally found someone who had escaped but their fresh body was just outside. I was very old by then so I chose to die facing them. Good job. Excellent tutorial!

I feel like the dude from dark city. Walking around free was so surreal. I went north and saw a bunch of old style tutorials... all with cracking adobe. 10/10 would discover the matrix again.

So I realized I've never actually made an iron tool from scratch. And I am apparently the slowest smither in the world. I kept going, "Oh right, I need that thing too!" I was frantically fighting against time, my hair was turning gray when I saw someone knocking on my wall.

I looked and there was another woman! I was so focused I said "Hi. Almost there." And went back to work. She said, "I'll be back."

I made a smithing hammer and was ready to finally craft my axe. Which I thought was the only thing needed when I realized I needed a shovel. Thankfully the other woman showed back up and said, "I have a shovel if you have an axe!"

So then I tried to make the axe and smith hammered too far!! WAAAAH.

But the other woman came back with her axe and she broke me out of tutorial jail!

LOL, I needed to be broken out of tutorial jail.

We tried to find more people but didn't. I had a great time though!

Now I have figured out ways I can be more efficient each time I fire that kiln. I may have to retry that area again.

I was the person who broke them out of “tutorial jail”

That time, I went North. We ended up traveling and eventually dying of old age together.

I decided to try and do a speed run of the tutorial, escaped at almost thirty. I helped another Eve out and never saw her again. I continued South for many years and found no one else, and then a snake leapt out of a tree and injected me with fatal venom. As I died, I stumbled into a tutorial jail and saw two skeletons, one of which was marked as yours! So I did end up finding my way home, haha!

Discovery: NORTH is newer tutorial spaces, people who joined more recently. SOUTH is older tutorial spaces. I try to break out anyone I can and do a fast speed run — fun as heck!

That was the best! So much fun. I felt really accomplished when I freed myself!

I went south at first, and after a couple of empty spots, I found a poor soul who was trying to escape, but she seemed pretty new and to not have gotten very far. despite spending a really long time. I was going to hang around and offer advice, but she'd eaten all the berries, and died of hunger on me.

I didn't find anyone else in the next couple of south enclosures, so I turned around and went north a good ways. I met someone who was getting there, but slowly. She asked if I could go back and get an axe, but it was a long way back to where I started, and I wasn't entirely sure I could find it again. But when I turned back south, I realized the previous enclosure did have someone I'd missed the first time. She was just finishing up, so once she was out we grabbed her axe and the shovel and went and rescued the other Eve. Then we went north to the next one, opened it up and burst in shouting "We're the rescue squad!" The person in there had gotten a good ways along, and seemed to be afk. We were about to take off, laughing at how confused she'd be to come back and find the tree gone, when she woke up and protested she didn't need the help.

I think the other two were off to look for more people, but I expired of old age at that point. I feel just a little bit bad for busting into her space and dying all over it while she was trying to do the challenge herself. But it was immense fun.

Hey. It was faster then the previous time I got rescued out of tutorial jail. I was actually just practicing smithing, but I figure I could hang out with you guys since you were soooo excited about being the rescue squad.

After you died, me and Eve Ding went south (since we had already went all the way north and there wasn't anymore!)

And we saw tutorial jail after tutorial jail that had already been axed Eve Ding was older and died, and then I eventually died after I tried to see how big tutorial jail was (pretty big!)
