Game wont open after update (MacOS 10)

Hey,

After updating the latest version (6.4) the game won't open anymore.
Playing on a MacBook Pro. Any tips on how to resolve this?

Yeah something screwed up for me too.

I got it running, though. Try this:

Open a terminal window
cd to <your one life directory>/OneLife_v64.app/Contents/MacOS
run chmod 744 OneLife

Then to run the game

./OneLife

I'm also having the same issue - playing on a MacBook Pro. I had no issues last night, but this morning after it forced me to restart the game after downloading the update - I can't open it anymore.

Not sure how to run the game with that suggestion. If I have the game in my applications folder, what should I paste into my terminal window? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies, but what exactly do I have to do when I have opened my terminal?
I am sorry, I'm not so technical..

-bash: /Applications/OneLife_v58b/OneLife_v64.app/Contents/MacOS: is a directory

I'm having the same issue.  Not sure how to get the Terminal to work

Type or paste the following into your terminal, one line at a time, amending the path if yours is different (check version number, etc). Press enter after each line.

cd  /Applications/OneLife_v58b/OneLife_v64.app/Contents/MacOS
chmod 744 OneLife
./OneLife

That last line should launch the game.

Deleting the game and downloading again from the server via your original download link may also work, but I haven't tried it myself.

Sorry about this!  If you don't want to mess with the terminal, just install fresh from v58b.

An email just went out about this.

I've reinstalled it now it's saying
       "%@" can't be found.

Happened to me: downloaded the game, opened it, it updated, and then it won't open anymore.

What I did to fix it: go to the game folder and run "OneLife_64" instead. Worked for me.

I Bought One Life and logged in and updated it now it says "The application “OneLife” can’t be opened." I have tried to uninstall it and install it again but then it says "%@" can't be found."I Spent 20 dollars on this great game i wish i could be able to play please help.

After the update, you will need to run the latest App in your game folder.  OneLife_v65 or whatever it is.
