Constant loading with No log in result

Hey,
So its happened a few times now since I purchased this game just on July.5th.....

I will Open the game, which brings me to my log in screen.
I enter my details and click "Log in"
It will proceed to Update and then load all the other resources.....

Then... POOF, I go right back to the Log in screen.... no "Getting ready to be born"

it does not matter how many times I click log in... it will just update, load resources and go back to the log in screen.

I only fixed it once, by deleting and re-downloading... but it doesn't work anymore. I am getting kinda sad I spent money on this game if I can't fix this. Please help!

Please note that this is for PC not Mac.
I can follow instructions, but they need to be step by step please. Thank you in advance for helping!!

I am having the same issue, I tried to stream the game today on twitch and I had the same problem, the game would update it said it was loading everything up then bam back to the logic screen.

I'm having the same issue.  It says "downloading update" and then the game restarts and goes back to the login screen.

I've tried it over a dozen times and completely re-download the game and have yet to get it past the "downloading update screen."

PC (Windows 10) for me too.

A lot of people are having this issue, the people on Mac have a fix but the peeps on window are stuck for now it seems. I spent 3 hours today trying to get it to work. but the dev knows about the issue so i'm sure it will be fixed soon

He sent out an email... you have to re`download the game, but it works now.

Hope I won't do this again in the future.  A stupid mistake on my part.
