Optional Audible Cues? For audio based off screen tracking.

Babies are cool because you can hear them even if you can't see them. You can find them offscreen.

Same with being hurt - you can hear the person shout.

What if we suggest to Jason the ability to shout, creating and audible cue to those around you.

I'd suggest anything involving a '!'

Thoughts?


What is an ominous blade blank?

It's that blade blank next to the file and short staff you see in a naked toddler's basket.

That can help to find kids on Eve run.  OTOH the headache in towns will be enormous.  So I'm split.

i mean, people don't need to use exclamation marks too often. There could be a cooldown on them

If you gave it a hunger cost per ! with increasing sound range, people won't spam it too hard.
Unless they are trying to eat all the food that is.

But then again you will see what they are up to easier as well.

I like the idea of SHOUTING.  But making it cost hunger bars is very high price in the context where it would be most useful (Eve runs) and matter the least where it can be abused just to annoy people (towns).  We need something with reverse properties.

EDIT: You can shout only shortly after eating onion, budrock, wild carrot, etc.?
