No more URLs in subject lines
Spammers are currently in "new user" mode for their first 10 posts, which means they can't post URLs.
However, they quickly discovered that they could sneak URLs into their subject lines.
I can't see any circumstance in which urls in subject lines would be necessary for anyone, spammer or not. After all, they won't be clickable.
So I put a filter in place to block them from subject lines for all users.
We'll see what the spammers do next....

They make money because they are paid by other companies to help with SEO.
This site has a relatively high Google page rank. Not that high, but higher than some other sites.
If this site links to a site, it boost's Google's opinion of that other site.
Eventually, they show up on the first page of google search results, and that is worth a lot of money.
