How does lineage ban work?

1. What age does it kick in? I have died at 14 and been reborn in same family.

2. How long till it expires? I been reborn in same family maybe 1.25 hours later.

Other questions....

1. Why do servers say shutting down sometimes?

2. What is the apocalypse?

3. Can you be born to your twin eve since she doesn't have same last name?

1: 30
2: never (i think might be 3 hours still)

Other:

1:idk
2:nothing atm dont worry about it. Was a failed mechanic you missed it
3: not after you hit 30. Wether they have a name or not has no bearing on the ban

Also if you're killed then you and the murderer get a lineage ban regardless.

Apparently living to sixty dosn't give you lineage ban, I had a cousin die of old age and then immediately come back as my grandson.

Re: How does lineage ban work?

If I understand all the news correctly:

Lineage bans only effect servers with more than 10 people on them and they scale from 0-3 hours at 10-50 people respectively (I assume linearly?)
As an addendum to the above you only get a lineage ban if you live to more 30 years of age or die through player vs. player violence.

after age 30 if not an eve and server has a lot of people

i think was changed to two hours, but based on player number changes? not sure
i still think 1 hour would be enough as you wouldnt see anyone who was there the time you died
grief a town you been murdered it isnt worth it anyway, people are expendable, the map is infinite but if you destroy parts of it, cant be repaired
its just so sad people waste others work cause they are mad at other random people

as eve you can born back, as you got no lineage

apocalypse was a way to end a server but it became kinda easy to do it, as you havent had to do it all alone, and you only needed some tools and some map knowledge, basically filling a monolith with gold, and a horse with crown, ended the server like a huge white nuclear bumm

i think you can but not sure on it, its not the name its the relation, but then different family so kinda confusing
before 30 shouldnt anyway, and after 30, well you got a window of 10 minutes

That is no true. Mighty Henry of Pharo Family was getting reborn, well, like endlessly to the line even though he was killed several times and killed himself.

I've seen it too.  There is a bug:

Re: How does lineage ban work?

Im not so sure about that Eves can respawn to their lineages. Well it did not work for me since a few weeks at least. Maybe it got changed?

While you are here, West.  Maybe you can chip in with suggestions how to start long lineages:

An advice from an expert is welcome.
