Time to reconsider...
Problems of square stone wall:
1. block passage
2. (corner wall) hides item behind it
3. cannot adjust when it becomes ancient
4. a good source for grieffer
(today, a grieffer locked himself with food and tools
and start spreading milkweed seed using teleport pillar)
Merits of rhombus bell tower base:
1. do not block passage
2. half base is adjustable, full base is permanent
3. half base = half less resources
like this!?

Why build walls at all?
If you must, wooden boxes are best walls.

Ugh, the ugly alternative sheep pens are bad enough. The trash pit setup is undeniably cheaper but good god is it ugly.

Its for the aesthetic.

grave walls are the best
material is always at the hand
fixing them takes a bit of effort, they even store items, portable
pits are bad cause people cant use them, everybody thinks lamb needs to go in pit
i even seen double walled pit pens where the whole purpose was to drop lambs in it
while you can put lambs on grave wall and despawns, even the meat can be stored on it, not the best looking but best space efficiency
the first pyramid teleport and my grave pen was in the city that was restarted several times and was the best working one i seen lately

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

guys give it a chance,
the main reason I suggested this is because
1. block passage
4. a good source for grieffer
and it's a pretty big annoyance!
plus, rhombus is much low-cost
... and for aesthetic reason,
true artist ain't a big fan of squares!!!
doesn't it look pretty neat?

I think that looks beautiful, reminds me of tribal artwork. What are the purpose people use for walls in general? I thought it was to contain heat?
Offline
It's rarely used for containing heat
room supposed to be separating different working area
..or letting ppl know 'this is the storage for (eg.)clothes'
well, I'm not a big fan of these storage rooms. I prefer floors.
but if someone gotta make one, try this rhombus shape, unless it's your private vault!
(even if you don't make it private, later on someone lock up the room and make it their personal possession!)
