So i was in a town and was queen. I was almost at the end of my life doing some tests with rails and carts and if carts were faster in stone roads. So I just needed to get the steel spring and went I went to the forge the forger told me to get people out because those people wouldn't let him forge, so first I ask normally but no one listened so I started to get a bit mad also and told them to go away or I would kill them. That is when they went away. So some time passed and out of nowhere someone curses me and says that I killed a child(my name was Kenya Fire so you can check Family tree and see that I didn't kill anyone) so I thought people would know that she was lying because I had all my life been working and didn't kill but noooo. Out of nowhere some stupid noobs follow what she says and start cursing me, at least i got some six curses because of her. Their excuse was that I had killed a baby and that I had threatened them(I did but, they didn't listened when I asked them nicely). Then I explained and those stupid people come up that they didn't know and "oh I was just cursing the person what everyone was doing". I told them, that why would they waste their curse coins if those are important and that if a real griefer came, that griefer wouldn't be cursed because you cursed someone without even knowing why just saying what a random person was saying. So at the end I just eneded up being very salty and couldn't finish my tests. I passed down crown to a baby hoping that it wasn't stupid as most of adults fo that town.
Lesson is that don't waste your curse coins when you don't know the situation.

That happens a lot. I've often see stabbed griefers try and spin everything back to the person who justly killed them, staggering around the town screaming "CURSE <user> THEY STABBED ME!" and often times succeeding in turning the town on the person who was protecting them.
A lot of people just see a murder and instantly think that the killer is the bad one, and don't wait to hear it out. Same goes for general cursing. Someone runs around saying "so-and-so did this, curse them!!!" and people just comply without question.
This is why I usually take a minute to explain to any nearby townsfolk that there's a griefer around, what they're doing that's considered griefing, and to keep an eye out for them. That way people are more likely to let you live if you do end up killing the griefer, rather than mistaking you as one.
Always take the time to learn about the situation before jumping to conclusions. Ask what x person did exactly, and use your own judgment rather than mob mentality. Save your tokens for cases in which its clear the person is a griefer, whether you saw them enact the crimes themself or there's enough evidence and people pointing towards that person.

yep that happens
stupid people are just everywhere
sometimes you even get killed after saving a civ from deadly griefers
one day i saved the last fertile girl and this stupid human being took the knife from the griefer and stabbed me on penality and even starved on her penality...

Many of my curse tokens go unused, sadly, due to me demanding to know more of the killings that go down. Overall if a player has been around for a long time and kills once or twice, I won't be suspecting or cursing them, especially if they talk about what went down.
Generally if one is planning to kill someone, it is good to talk about it to others. I will happily feed anyone who has justified their murder and kept the town going through their lives.
If no one talks about their intentions, I have nothing but my glimpses of the person to base my judgement on. This often makes me the sort of villager who looks at the scene, sees who survives or if none survive (meaning the starving 'killer' and the bleeding 'victim' die), and walks away, not to make more weapons but to continue their projects.
Once I did 'forget' to curse an old woman who stabbed my character, a 41 year old hard-working male. I suspect her reasoning was the crown which had just been given to me and some sort of roleplayer bitterness. Her name was Prince after all, but I had the darn crown. So yeah didn't even curse her, I was just more like "aaaallrighty then. Next life." than "omg someone avenge meeee". She just took down a 41 year old male, that's all. The old woman ran away to avoid the gathering people; usually quilty players are like that, running away instead of reasoning and staying put, vulnerable to everyone.
