Who's the worst baby/kid you've had?

For me it's a bady that moved a ton and F'D constantly and not letting me name them. They didn't last long, I quickly let them die.

Another was a daughter that was good at first and killed me as soon as she could. This was one of my first experiences with griefers. She literally said nothing besides Saying F once or twice, She ran off into the woods as soon as she grew hair. Then she shot me without a word. This is why I don't trust silent babies and children anymore.

I had a kid once, that touched and combined everything. took flat rock or the long shaft away from the smithing area just to use it to make omeletts (that he burned) and make firewood out of the long shaft. Every time i tried to grab him and to explain him, just continued on doing it, not listening. Was close on killing him but he starved.

Or the kid that started to become crasy, saying that her uncle wanted to kill her, later killing him and others.

we had a camp going and i had several kids, smithing in between, had a blonde girl, then a son, then one more girl, was last one before getting old, i was ready to make a saw with the blade blank and ingot, first act she does is putting a chisel on the blade, i pick her up to toss the hammer
she tells me she wants to make lock and key
i tell her there is no need for that, that is for makinga saw, so i can make a cart and head out, as i didnt had time to explore from kids

she told me she wants to 'lock away our memo'
i spend my time to raise her and explain it, she sneaks back takes it again and makes a stupid lock and key without having a file

i was enraged and tried to take her far to starve but somehow she survives it, then i tried to shot her, for the dumbfuck she is, you dont make lock and key blank when you are on a gen2 camp and cant even make a box or room to be locked, as we no way to make it with no iron
heck we arent even sure we survive
she spent her rest of life coming back to camp, hiding stuff, and eating the berry, not doing anything useful for 30 minutes, taunting me
and my other girl looked exactly the same so i had moments when i almost shot her

and poor soul was leaving the camp and the last words of granddaughter and her was 'home?' / 'there is no home'
which made me sad cause a dumbfuck kid angered me beyond control
the type of player who can eat and survive but wont do anything useful in her entire life, not even raising kids

recently i had a daughter who jumps out of my arms and runs north, where granny fed her once, as i was holding a daughter, i slowly went back and explain that i dont like jumpers and shouldnt leave the desert, im not running after kids
i shouldnt even go after her, just let her starve if choosed to run away then return
you dont do that, or you wait 10 seconds and ask for a tour or go and die, basically wanted to force me to raise her near a cold berry farm which i wont do, so i let her die after second feeding
still running around begging grandma who died right that time

borns back as my son, and acts ok this time, until age 12 then shots me with his sister in my hand
i was clearing the swamp, we had a cold camp above a swamp, two ponds, i found a few cacti and a lot of ponds, i already planned to make a pen there and start composting near water, so we dont have to eat so much as before
dumbfuck shots me 3rd gen when it isnt even my eve run and we are worse than an eve run, as we barely had some tools
isnt my fault you run away and if dont pay attention to me, why should i?
like i put you down, and if you want to be fed stay there not 30 tile away in the cold and i run after you
no 'sorry' or 'plz' just FFFFFF every second

and one more life i had my second kid, made 2 aprons and two hats, fixed berry, had a wool ball, my son is killed in full gear, a guy is killing a woman, i seen he is right cause the dumbfuck makes shoes out of woolpads while the water is boiling, he took one apron, i fed him on penalty, i dont mind gearing useful people, i had the third apron just made, i took the pack from my dead sons grave, while a girl just scavenging it, ignoring the fact that i made him all the clothes, and she even feels that it belongs to her now, even if i made it, scooping up the only yarn and needle, the wool ball into a basket and why i dont even give a pack to her, when i had a daughter before it, i gave the pack and knife to daughter, and that lil shit still mentions the pack, i took her basket with the yarn ball, she follows, then i stab her, i was explaining to my daughter that she was a selfish prick, then my daughter, who i got a self made apron, and after she was raised a pack, a knife, says 'stay away from me' then stabs me
you are my kid, i can just let you starve or stab you any time
if its not good enough reason to kill someone who scavenges all for herself and even hates you for taking back your sons clothes, then i dont know what is
and the only reason i wasnt saved cause i didnt see that she took the needle from medical room to make herself even more clothes, cause stealing a full set of wool clothes from my son is not enough

in the end this two events were recently and i dont even want to raise kids anymore when they are disgraceful bastards
my sons kill me for no reason on eve/starter camps just because we got a bow, they wont side with me even if got reason to kill griefers and selfish pricks who take my lifes work, and generally they dont give a crap about you once they are grown
and generally kids are just waste of my time and productivity
i gonna ask a forumname and if i know them i raise them, the rest gets a name and good luck

every single one that comes up to me after babyhood saying "f" but is too big and die a second later (please just keep food on hand!!)....... also myself when i get lost in complete gear cos i forgot to make home marker

edit: also the kids who ask how to do things but then die right after i explain it to them or just run off and never come back. i will help if you let me!!

It baffles me how people know that one session takes maximum of one hour of playing and still end up having to leave mid-life. Usually I am not too bummed if a town runs out of women but this just grinded my gears a bit as it was such an unnecessary end, like be a noob or have an accident but just leaving like that...

Aw man, if it was you, I wished you would have afked for a while, I'd have fed you, all those berries sitting in the bushes. I suspected that the daughter may not have known they were last fertile girl there, but yeah, I do understand if it was an emergency. It was just very disappointing as she went out with a "K bye" before I could realize that she was actually going to disconnect. I also considered that maybe they thought their son was a daughter, it was the blonde boy after all.

I spent a long time looking for a good spot with desert, green and swamp. I was starting a berry farm where I'd envisioned, when I notice my daughter had started her own berry farm in the middle of green. I tell her to stop and to grow the berries on warm land where I'd begun a couple plots. She won't listen to me. Says she'll do whatever the hell she wants. Steals soil off my farm. Makes her berry farm even bigger. We fall into a verbal altercation. Then she starts making a fucking bow so she can kill me. I just starved myself because I hit menopause and that insufferable bitch was my last remaining daughter.

Ah, nope, false alarm, that wasn’t me. I was in an Eve camp, I was third-gen mother’s last child and only girl, and I have never said “k bye” in my life. Sorry that happened to you.

I raised a kid who should die, but she did want to live so she follow me while I'm holding my other kid.
I accidentally named she "lucky".

She talk to me and worked in farm, so I think I can trust her.
When she grew older I hand the knife to her, because I have my mission.

She stabbed me immediately, then kill others after I die.

That is what happened yesterday.

had 6 kids in row, so was pretty stressful anyway
we had a desert, and soil and a big berry farm but like 3 ponds and pretty far
i seen 7 kids when i born, and most of them died

i had one, amy, who kept jumping out of my arms, when i named her, and after, kept going around when we barely had food, i tried making a road, and i had a new baby girl
finally she stayed on the desert, but then again jumped off
normally i wouldnt feed those kids but i was light hearted, and fed once more when she told she is new

then when 4 year old she said 'joke im not new'
pissed me off but it was a pretty bad camp tought she dies

when we started smithing a few more tools to make a well, like chisel, adze froh
she covered us dropping items in the basket, and taking out, and just doing that not listening

so i shot her, while she even got a baby there, when all other was to the right on the desert

at least i got her offguard, i shot her, she was like 'what?'
told her was a bad baby and shouldnt even let her grow up

and ofc the bitch who makes straw hats from milkweed or just spoiled by the eve, starts cursing me with no knowledge about what happened and says to others to curse me
like two of them did, one daughter of her

later people see i make saw so when i shot her there was no cursing or fear whatsoever, told them no one else has to die, and we made the well which made the camp okayish

I made the mistake of feeding a suspicious child too many times. She'd jump out of my arms less than a second after entering them, and temp run in circles.

Me and a son agreed to leave her to starve, but it was too late and she survived on a desert patch. Turns out she was cursed, ran away laughing with our early eve supplies.

Not that it matters, she was the only fertile female by that time anyways. I only had three kids, and the first two had been male. Both good boys - one made a bow and went hunting bears and wolves to prevent future issues with them while the other helped me get the farm going.

Griefing is so easy in a game like this, far easier than being productive/a benefit to the settlement. Had one who grabbed a bow and picked up arrows very early in my last game. Said they wanted the bow for 'hunting' which is always a big clue a it is usually bollocks. Tried to take my knife as it was handed over also.. So wandered off, found bits i needed and made my own bow then shot her. Others agreed she was a disaster waiting to happen so no problems! Checked her lineage, 3 daughters before she dies, all left to starve..

Gut instinct can be wrong but when you've seen the various grief styles it's usually right.

Yours was unforseen and must have driven them crazy being productive until they could get hold of knife!

When I'm well off I enjoy the idea of getting new players as babes so that I get the chance to teach them the basics.
I remember one time though, when I had gotten reborn as a woman into a family that I had started myself just a couple of gens ago;
I was born as the only woman and throughout fertility I ended up getting son, upon son, upon son. Most of them were actually really helpful, but I wasn't really happy until, finally, on my last "plop", I spawned a baby girl.
Now, the farm and the general food-production was all in place for generations to come, but I was really anxious seeing how it all came down to just one random player.
Naturally I had nothing to do but to chat with her and show her around.
I was keeping a real close eye on her and even closer still when she told me she was new. I made her place a homemarker and pleaded for her to stay close to the berry patch, attentively putting food in her mouth whenever I saw that she was struggling.
Then when she plopped a babygirl of her own I felt immensely relieved, for my hour had now passed.

I felt good until I checked the family tree;
That fuckin' noobshits' final word were "brb afk".
Dead, both she and the babe, only moment after I had hit the bucket.
One hour one life is not fair.
