Papers are a great gift for placing forum knowledge into the game for all players to see. Valued for advice, laws, correspondence, culture, history, rp, and art, they are typically created by skilled players (us ) who are trusted with a knife. The best messages will hold their meaning if moved, or their environment changes. And the most useful will directly improve the village’s future. Using up to 60 characters,

I thought it was sweet when I read notes like “all that remains is family” and “you, who are reading this, are our future. We love you.”

I’ve left a few messages like “Teach everything you can, we all learn somehow.” And “don’t shear all the sheep” and my favorite... “ur ma gay”.

Keep temp in the middle

Drink milk

Make roads to iron veins

Till two soil at once

Feed lambs for poop

Don't shear the last sheep

Mutton pie is better than bread

Starve cursed babies

Make backpacks, straw hats and reed skirts

Milkweed for ropes, fleece for thread

Make roads not tracks

Compost!

Examples on my mind:

x resource x direction, ... z resource z direction
(rabbits, bakery, forge, compost, other village, tailor, medic, etc.)
Read xyz forums
We are nomadic. Leave extra girls by ponds to start homes.
Tend home if childbearing. Gather from far if male.
Keep oven, compost farm, and sheep together for pies.
Keep all babies; disperse if overpopulated.
Priority order is survive, compost, yum foods, gather, build

I like to write "X was here" just to leave a mark on history. And I also like to write little warning written as folklore like "Watch out! There are little girl eating trolls in the woods!" if there are wolves in the woods so little girls don't go out there and die.

Instructions on how to use a teleporter farm (Done this before but it took like four sheets of paper and was only readable by old people before the update.)

Epitaphs for marked graves so people know who is buried at the spot.

Probably should write about one tech so newer players know where to check for recipes.

I'd say coordinates for iron mines but I don't know how many players actually still use the coordinate software besides myself at this point.

That's a good idea too. I remember one family having a suicide baby road that was filled with almost two dozen skeletons from babies killing themselves. That was a spooky ass place to build a hut and warn the locals about the dangers of suicide baby road.
