Game is unplayable with arrow and note bug

Just spawned in the first time after the new writing update and got witnessed a murder by the arrow and note AND got killed by my own mother just after a few minutes. This is total bullshit, to be honest. And I was really looking forward to playing today but I guess I'm gonna have to wait...

I'm not trying to be rude to Jason because he REALLY deserves that break but it's just unfortunate that there had to be such a game breaking glitch in the update right before he went away...
