Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

No more apocalypse.
Never was around anyways.

Apocalypses were fun. Don't fret, they'll be back. Regular apocalypses are this games end-goal. Basically, Jason wants the tech tree to end with something that might trigger apocalypse if missused (or not protected properly against griefers).

I would enjoy apocalypses if they started a 15 minute timer to stab the person activating it and dismantle it. I would make monoliths only revert to wilderness areas within 1000 blocks of them. Would add some late game excitement and blocking off monoliths within 1000 blocks is achievable

He almost lost his community when it was activable.
Nope and there is nothing to wipe out anyway, decay...

Monoliths where no fun. At one point I managed to live through 3 apocalypses in one gameplay. Didn't even have time to live an entire 60 minutes of life before a new apocalypse came. Me no like

The cross server destruction was my main problem with the apocalypse. I could see the draw to attempting a speedrun of it, as many people were doing, but wiping all the servers every time made it no fun for me personally.
Be kind, generous, and work together my potatoes.
