WTF did I just witness?

I lived a very brief life in a city (lineage), and I saw my adopted mother and many of her relatives/other townspeople die simultaneously. Was that a mass disconnect? I didn't live long enough to ask around--no one would feed me!

Hey I was Knight your adopted Mom, I remember feeding you on berries at first since I wasn't yet old enough to actually produce milk, I think it was only a little while before the mass connection lost that I was actually able to feed you properly.

I felt pretty cheated by the way that life ended since I had some good gear and things had been going decently up until that point! Sorry our time together got cut short!

takes like 8 sec some database thingy so people might die
i seen that a few times, everyone a screen away died and we were close to famine but still had food for a while so was disconnect error

i dont mind lag that much, i eat earlier, but the 25% life ending in disconnects is bad

I actually got disconnected and was immediately spawned as Eve after DC. It seems that it wiped whole family.

Isn't that what they call paper cut i died like that to with my kids its when someone uses a bow and arrow with a paper
And i said wth then some women told me to run paper cut
